Jeonghan was tired of Joshua's pretending everything was normal.

Clearly not. Jeonghan could feel his hands cold and sweaty. Weird gut feeling taking over him, but for some reason, he also knew he could trust Joshua blindly, and everything would be okay.

But curiosity was killing him.

After a moment of just silence, he spoke up. Finally

"How could you stay so calm?...I am stressing about how many different ways this can turn out. If he remembers it was you, we are-"

"He is my cousin....
He helped me. He isn't actually in a coma." Joshua gave him a smile, but it sent shivers down Jeonghan.

Joshua was insane.

"That's so risky."

" Well, don't worry, I can pay anyone to work for me. Technically, I am not doing anything wrong. "

He is right. He is wrong, but for the good. That mother fucker ruined a girl's life. For what? To look cool? Disgusting.

Monsters like them shouldn't roam around earth.

"Money sure is funny," Jeonghan said in a low voice. He lets out a sigh of relief. He doesn't need to worry that much.

"How are your parents doing?" Joshua froze for a second. He hated this question.

"I don't know. Probably good."

"You don't know? Are you guys not close anymore?"

"Well, they see me as a business object. Something they want to use to get more deals and shares. Fucked up. I know. "

Jeonghan looked at Joshua with an unreadable look.
He hated Joshua's parents more than Joshua himself. They ruined his life.

"Well fuck them. Let's go hit up some drink. " Jeonghan got up. Signaling the younger to follow behind. Joshua smiled. "Yeah fuck them"

Joshua's house is also his house now. Just like how it was before 8 years ago.

They came downstairs, sitting down. Getting things ready for another hour long talk session. When a sudden question strikes Jeonghan

"Joshuji"

"Yeah?"

"Do my sister and mom still live in the same apartment as 8 years ago?"

"Yeah. They don't want to move out because it has your memories in it." Joshua's voice was low and pained.

(The next day)

Here he was,

Jeonghan stood in front of his mother's house. His heart sank and raced at the same time.

....

What was he even going to say? How was he supposed to explain why he is back? How?

But he was also longing to see his mother's face one more time. Hear his sisters nagging one more time.
So he rang the doorbell.

It was all up to God's hands now for what comes next.
