Jeonghan woke up feeling light headed, his stomach was growling from hunger.

After a few seconds of getting used to the surroundings around him, he saw his mother sitting next to him, and everything hit him all over again.

"M-mom"

"Hannie.. you were out for 2 hours. I was so worried."

He didn't know what it was, but being pulled into a hug by his mom was his last string.

"Mom, I am so sorry. I am so sorry for leaving you all alone to deal with this- I-I feel so fucking selfish." He sobbed

"No sweetie dont think like that..I don't know why you aren't telling me your reasons but I am sure you had one to why you ran away. You didn't even know your sister was sick don't 't blame yourself." He could feel his mothers voice breaking.

After a while he started calming down again, Jeonghan hadn't cried so hard in years that it almost felt good crying.

"Oh and Joshua is here. He is very worried, I think you should talk to him."

"Can you tell him to come here please."

"Of course"

After a few minutes the door opened to reveal a worried Joshua who looked like he was about to scold Jeonghan for not taking care of himself.

But he was hit with the softest sounding 'are you okay'.

"Ye-"

"Don't lie to me Jeonghan"

"Fuck it fine I am not..why did you not tell me about my sister?"

"Because it was better for you to talk with your mother Jeonghan. Things would be worse if I told you myself."

"Did she suffer a lot?" His voice almost a whisper.

"A lot" Joshua said, taking Jeonghans hand and whispering against it.

"But hey she is in a better place now, a place that is way better than this world. Let's be happy for her instead of blaming ourselves over it Han." Jeonghan nodded, not saying a word but Joshua just let him be. Jeonghan needed some time too.

As Joshua was about to leave Jeonghan stopped him quickly.

"Please stay with me for the night."

Joshua was a bit taken aback by the sudden request but he knew Jeonghan found comfort in hugs and cuddles, it was his way of coping from sadness.

It made him wonder how did the poor boy survive 8 years all alone, with nothing but a depressing job of a detective.

"Don't worry, I won't go anywhere, Jeonghan."

"Thanks." He whispered
