Toshiko was hanging out with Mina in the common room, along with the rest of the Bakusquad. She sat on her phone while everyone talked about their essay due at the end of the week. "Hey guys," Kirishima asked, out of the blue. "If you weren't going to be a hero, what would you be?" An odd thing to ask.
"What kind of question is that," Bakugou questioned from the kitchen. "Whatever I'd be, I'd be number one." Sero raised his hand eager to answer. "I'd work in arts and crafts. Sculptor or art teacher or something like that." "News reporter," Mina answered from her spot on the couch. She had clearly thought this through.
Toshiko thought while she scrolled through her phone. "A housewife," she settled on. Everyone looked at her seeing that it wasn't actually a paying job. "A what?" Mina asked. Perhaps they had misheard her. "A housewife," she repeated like she was obvious the first time. "You know, cooks and cleans a house all day for a husband." "O...kay?" Everyone glanced at each other like she was crazy.
"What?? I think I would make an excellent housewife." They all shrugged her off trying to change the subject. "Seriously?" She interrupted. "You guys don't think- Bakugou! Bakugou." He was walking back to his seat, protein bar in his mouth. "Come here," she waved him over. He leaned over the couch to look at her, she turned around to look at him. "What," he asked, mouth full of peanut butter protein bar.
"Do you think I would make a good housewife??" He took the bar out of his mouth and leaned a bit closer. "What, are you offering something?" She was shocked at this response, having been expecting an "I don't know" or a "Do I look like I care?" "What..."
