With Hanasu sound asleep in her rocking crib, Toshiko lay in bed. Katsuki walked out of the bathroom and onto the bed. "Finally." He leaned over and rested his lips on her temple. "Good job today Mama." She groaned and shifted. "Don't call me that, it's weird." "I like it." "Ugh. I just hope she sleeps through the night. We have to get up early tomorrow." "Yeah. So, night."

A few hours later-

They both sat up at the sound of yelling from the crib. "I'm up. I'm up." They went over and stood over her crib, barely even awake. "Is she hungry?" "Like I would know." "Try rocking her, maybe she needs to be rocked." They both lightly pushed the crib, and her cries subsided. As soon as they let go and walked back she started again. "Her eyes couldn't be any more open right now," Toshiko groaned, going back over.

"Here, here, grab the baby, just, get her." Toshiko lifted her and rocked her in her arms, turning and leaning against the edge of the crib. Her eyes started to close little by little. "Come on, close close close, are they closed?" "No, you can still see some of the whites." Katsuki sighed and looked at the baby. "Can we do it manually?" He started to drag his hand to close her eyes, only for her to laugh and open them again.

This process went on for a while until Toshiko pulled her back. "It's not gonna work, Kat." While she still didn't sleep, Toshiko sighed and groaned. "Ugh, what if she never goes to sleep..." "Alright, y'know what, I got her." He mumbled, reaching out for the baby. "Huh? What?" "I got her, you just go to bed, it's fine." "No, I don't wanna go to bed if you're gonna be up. I'll feel bad." "I know but if I go to bed, then I'm gonna feel guilty."

"That's what I'm saying, listen, that's why you go to bed, and I'll take her." She looked him dead in the eyes as she spoke. He sighed and reluctantly stepped back. "Alright, I'll go to bed." He started walking towards the bed. "I can't believe you're going to bed!" "You just said I could go to bed!" He walked back over and took the baby. "Okay, you know what." "Can't we just put her in the bed?" "No, we'll crush her dumbass." He sat on the bed and bounced her, waiting for Toshiko to sit next to him.

As Hanasu finally began to drift off, Toshiko took her and sat in the rocking chair. "You know you love it," she mentioned, letting the baby fall asleep in her arms as she did the same in the rocking chair.

—the next morning (around 5:30 am)—

Toshiko woke up first with the baby playing in her arms. Glancing at the bed, Katsuki had fallen asleep barely covered. She groaned and stood up, getting dressed before doing the same for Hanasu. Holding Hanasu, she figured she needed to wake her husband before he made them late.

"Katsuki," she shook him, making him groan and barely open his eyes. "Wake up, we gotta go." "I'm still asleep," he grumbled. "I know, we gotta go before we're late." "Let me sleep a little longer." She removed Hanasu's hands from messing with her ear, lightly bouncing her. "Baby's awake, we're leaving, let's go."

He turned onto his side and continued to mumble. "You do it. You get the baby." "Katsuki, I'm tired too!" He sucked in a breath and sighed, brushing her hand from his shoulder. "You made her, you take her." She paused and glared at him, grabbing his arm and dragging him out of the bed. "Technically you made her, so yeah, you're gonna take her while I get everything else ready. We're leaving in 30, so hurry up." She handed the baby to Katsuki and went downstairs to pack the diaper bag and make breakfast.

—time skip—

Katsuki walked downstairs and grabbed the bottle from the counter, giving it to Hanasu. Toshiko zipped up the diaper bag and handed Katsuki his protein shake, grabbing hers and taking Hanasu from him, strapping her into the seat, and carrying her out to the car.
