We pulled up to the hotel we'll be staying at for the night and checked in, lugging our suitcases to the elevator and down the hall to our room.

I tossed my bag to the side of the desk as Spencer threw herself onto the bed we'll be sharing for the night. I giggled then felt as my phone vibrated in my back pocket, I reached for it and saw an incoming text.

Jaime: I love you.

I tilted my head in slight confusion as to the forwardness of the text, just a plain and simple "I love you." I know I shouldn't question it, but something feels like there's more behind the message. Nonetheless I decide not to over think it and text back with a smile across my face.

Arianna: I love you too (Heart Emoji)

Jaime: I know I didn't tell you at home after our talk, but I really appreciate the things you do for our relationship. You mean so much to me babe and I will do whatever I can to always keep you happy the way you make me happy.

Again I tilt my head a scrunch up my eyebrows in curiosity as to why he's suddenly saying all of this but again decide not to comment on it.

Arianna: That means a lot, honestly. I will always try and keep us strong. You mean more to me than anything in this world and it will always be that way.

Jaime: My future would be nothing without you. You make me a better person, yesterday, today, and for all the days to come. Thanks for giving me a second chance that day in Spencer's apartment, I never thought I'd be here with you now if it weren't for that moment.

Arianna: I'll give you all the chances in the world, if it meant being with you.

Jaime: Till the end?

Arianna: Till the end.

I felt a tear stream down my cheek and brushed it away, saying a quick goodnight before diving into the bed and calling it a night.

The next morning we woke up fairly early and got to the small airport that would take us back to San Diego, when we finally got home I went straight over to Chris's apartment to pick up Max.

"Thank you so much for watching him, I hope he wasn't too hard to handle." I say walking Max out on his leash.

"Oh he was no problem at all, he's so cute, and if you ever need a dog sitter I'm in." He says with a laugh.

"I'll keep that in mind, I'm sure he'll love to spend more time with his uncle Chris." I say putting him inside the car.

"Thanks again Chris, I'll talk to you again soon." I say giving him a hug then getting in the car and driving back home.

I was around the corner when my phone began to ring; I looked at the caller ID and saw Austin's goofy face illuminate it.

"Yes Carlile?" I say with a smile.

"Rae! I miss you, are you back in town? Let's go grab some food!" He says out all at once.

"Whoa breathe for a second Austin." I reply with a laugh.

"I just got to my house, let's meet at the French Café down the street, I can take Max with me there." I say pulling up to the drive way.

"Okay, I'll be there in fifteen." He says followed by a quick bye.

I pulled Max out and began my walk to the Café that's fairly close by and grab a table for two outside, then tie Max's leash around the leg of my chair and watch as he lies down and chews on his toy.
