SEPTEMBER 13 2149 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
(march 21. 2149.)
HER MIND DISSOCIATES, TUNING OUT THE GUARDS YELLING, her eyes stared down at her hands. Small blotches of blood stained in patterns on the palms of her hands. Her father rushes up to her, grabbing her, cuffing his hands around her cold rose-tinted cheeks.
Her mind snap into reality her eyes wavered back to the guards unconscious body, covered in cuts and bruises.
"Thea..." her father's voice brings her eyes back to him, "you need to run and hide, they're going to take you away, from me... do you understand me?" Thalia shook her head, knowing there was nowhere she could run.
Her father doesn't give her an option though. His hands grip her arms, yanking her up onto her feet. "Run!" He shouted, shoving her in the opposite the direction of the guards.
"She's running!" One yells, Thea makes it past the mess hall, up until Marcus Kane shows up, stopping her. A man tackles her to the ground as another handcuffs her wrists behind her. She's dragged upward, her hair falling in front of her face.
"Thalia Zavala, you're under-arrest for aggravated assault, attempted murder, and attempted escape," one says. His voice was deep, flustered even. His hair was gelled back, his eyes were dark, and he had freckles scattering his cheeks.
Abby Griffin and Chancellor Jaha came rushing into the mess hall, Doctor Griffin went to the unconscious guard as Jaha took one look at Thea. He nodded, giving them a signal to take her to solitary.
Few moments later, the next thing she knew, she was thrown into a cell. The room was empty, cold, only had one small tinted window to show the stars across the infinite galaxy. There was a bench below the window, next to it was another but this one held a small twin-sized mattress.
Thalia huffs, sighing in disbelief, "guess I should get cozy." She rolls her eyes, lying down on her, extremely uncomfortable, thin mattress. She stares up at the ceiling, imagining what freedom and complete control would look and feel like.
Lord knows she could use that right about now.

ONE-HUNDRED-EIGHTY-FIVE days later. . . .
Thalia was sitting on the floor of her cell, facing the window the held the image of thousands, millions, of stars. Right underneath the small, square, window were count-marks. They all added up to one hundred eighty five, she was ready to turn the five to a six.
