It's night and A Quiet Grace is set on fire.
NEAL-(V.O) When a new year starts the first thing people usually start to do is to check off your New Year's resolution list. You have this completely new positive attitude, you're so passionate about your dreams in this moment. How far are you willing to go to go to protect them?
TAYLOR-(O.S) Help! Kent Please!
Taylor is inside A Quiet Grace as it's on fire.
Neal wakes up panicking.
NEAL- Taylor!
INT. KENTS AND TAYLORS ROOM - MOMENTS LATER
Neal bursts into the room.
NEAL- T.
Taylor walks out of the bathroom soap on her face.
TAYLOR- what's wrong?
Neal hugs her.
NEAL- Nothing...um you're okay.
Taylor laughs.
TAYLOR- Well duh.
NEAL- I just had this crazy dream.
TAYLOR- What happened?
NEAL- it was this fire and you were screaming and I couldn't get to you.
TAYLOR- Well as you can see I'm fine.
NEAL- you kinda got (points to the soap on her face) a little bit.
TAYLOR- (sarcastic) Oh I haven't notice.
Neal laughs.
NEAL- you know it's crazy after all this time... so much has changed I still feel like we're the same little kids riding our bikes down to the cage and I'm still responsible for you.
Taylor laughs.
TAYLOR- now you know I was the one responsible for you.
Neal laughs.
NEAL- that is true but you let me believe it.
TAYLOR- Neal you already know how much I love you. I learned all about unconditional love from you....that's why I want you to be my best man.
Neal smiles.
NEAL- seriously?
Taylor laughs.
TAYLOR- Yes.
NEAL- T I'll be the best best man you will ever see I'm gonna put the best in man.
TAYLOR- Neal.
NEAL- I'm doing a lot?
Taylor laughs.
TAYLOR- I wouldn't expect any less.
Taylor walks back into the bathroom.
NEAL- Um where's K?
TAYLOR- (O.S) He went for a run and to visit Garret.
NEAL- Okay...cool.
TAYLOR-(o.s) you sure you okay? Like you're not thinking too far into this dream right?
NEAL- Yeah...I'm cool....let's just try to avoid A Quiet Grace today.
Taylor laughs.
TAYLOR-(o.s) Okay.
