Chapter 5 - Jealousy

Its reception time, everyone is asking Mon about her wife, including her mother-in-law.  Mrs Anantrakutal also attended the reception as she got invitation from groom side. Mon replied everyone that Sam is stuck at her work, everyone believes but not her mother-in-law. Achun thought she need a word with her daughter.

Sam with her gang is at their regular restaurant, Sam try to avoid whatever her friends are asking.
"What are you planing Sam, why you invite all of us suddenly. " Jim asked
"Nothing , I want to see you all"
"Dont lies to us" Tee with sarcastic tone and continue "Is it not because you want to avoid Mon's cousin marriage reception"
"How do you know that?"
"Because Mon already asked me and why you used my name as your excuse and she know that you are lying, she let me know beforehand if your mother asked"
"Why would my mother asked about that?"
"Because, she is also attending the reception as she got invitations, the groom is her friend son".

Sam doesn't say anything, she thought Why Mon doesn’t said anything even she know about lying .
Jim study her stupid friend "Sam sweetie what is this, why don't you want to go with your wife. Why you keeping distance from her" Sam didn’t answer so Jim continues "Are you scared to fall in love with her? Why you put the wall between you and her, she is so sweet. And we know you like her too"
"We all know for sure that Mon love you,
just open your heart" Kade give assurance words to her friend.
"If you keep distant from her then, one day she will fed up and will think that you don't care about her and she will left you for sure" Jim told her friend, everyone agree with her.
"Sam go be with your wife, its not late you can attend the reception, just go and be with her, everyone must be expecting you both , your mother and her parents must be there too" Kade said .

Sam come to realize what she have done and she thanks to her friends.
She called Mon and asked where the reception venue is and headed towards it. As she reach there, she call Mon and let her know she is there at the entrance.

Mon's heart is fill with happiness and came to see her wife. Sam saw her wife in a baby pink dress with light make-up, looked so gorgeous. Sam couldn't take off her eye from her wife. Sam in her grey suits and Mon thought her wife is handsome and beautiful at sametime.

Meanwhile, Sam meet her in laws and extended family of Mon and apologized for late, but everyone were happy that atleast she reach there.
Lastly, Sam face her mother, said sorry to her mother but her mother ignored her totally and just enjoyed the reception.

Sam is sitting on one of chair that are place in rows and playing a game in her phone. Mon went to have chat with her cousin.

Next to Sam's chair two guy is chatting, first she doesn’t care about their chat but by hearing Mon name she is interested. 
One guy said "Look, the rumors must be true" noding at Mon
other reply "Ummm what rumors? "
"About Mon's wife"
"Umm, I heard, Mon came alone?"
"Look like their marriage is some agreement, her wife should be with her right"
"I heard they got married because of her mother-in-law "
"Um, her mother-in-law is her boss, what in the world. "
"Did Mon is into only women"
"Why?? Do you like her?"
"Don't you see, she is young, gorgeous and sexy, who won't like her"

Sam blood is boiling inside, she want to smack the guys but she doesn’t want to create a scene in someone marriage. So she just control herself. They continue their chit chat.
"Leave your thoughts,  I heard that she is not into anyone boy or girl but only into her wife, what did she see in her wife"
Sam feel proud to heard that word
"Umm did you know her wife?"
"No, I never saw her"
"Don't you want yo see her"
"I want, I asked one of her cousin,  he said Mon came alone"

After, they change the topic to another person. Sam thought why they try to discuss other people's life.
At that time Mon come towards them and sit next to Sam.
"Khun Sam, lets go and eat something " Sam want to know whether Mon knew these men beside her.
"Mon, do you know them" noding towards the men .
"Yeah, one is my cousin friend, why?"
"Introduced me to them".
Mon look at the two men and greet
"Good evening,  P'Chen"
"Good evening,  Nong Mon ,its been long time, how are you?"
"P'Chen, I am good, I hope you are good too."
"Yeah I am good too"
"P'Chen, meet my wife, her name is Samanun Anantrakutal "
Mon introduced Sam to Chen and his friend. The men looked at each other act like deer caught on headlights and greeted Sam. They have great feelings that Sam might listen all their chit chat.
The couple are about to leave but Sam want to say something
"Nice to meet you guys , your little chit chat was so interesting and funny. But sometimes its better not to talk about others if you don't know them well".
Sam move closer to Mon and hold her hand and leave the two men in awe . Mon asked her wife what was that about
"Nothing , lets go and eat something" They were walking holding hands, Sam want to apologize to her wife
"Mon, sorry for letting you go alone, I should be there for you in first place"
"Its ok Khun Sam,  I know you dont like family functions "
"How do you know??"
"I know"
"How?"
"Khun Sam, you will know one day".
Sam try to asked further but interrupted by one of Mon's cousin.
"Khun Sam, Mon come this way, I am saving your table" the couple thanks with a nice smile. Sam thought why Mon has so many cousin.

Now, Sam try to get close to Mon and Mon is happy about it. They find happy in each other company.
As any other day, Mon is ready to go for work. She is about to leave, Sam call her "Mon, I have to meet mom, lets go together ".
"Ok"
Mrs Anantrakutal happy that her daughter want to come to work, her mother give her the position of Managing Director as the post is already open as previous employee left the post.
Whether Sam like it or not, one day she is going to handle the company. So she is going to attend the company from tomorrow and learn from her mother but mostly she want to get close to her wife. Achun is happy and invite couple for dinner at her place.

Sam joined the company, the couple came together and went back together. Sam is some what jealous about her wife.
Everyone wants to have lunch with her and wants to talk with her, the employee seems so closed to her wife both men and women.

One day, Sam saw her wife talking to one of employee in morning, she saw the same person with her wife at break time. She try to control her jealously but she couldn't, she had bad day at work.

After work they were on the way home, Sam is driving in bad mood, Mon sense the mood and try to cheer up her wife.
She made a joke. At that Sam said
"I don't know you were an entertainer".
"What are you talking about Khun Sam?"
"I mean you entertained everyone "
"What is this about?"
"Are you not tired?? As you entertain everyone with your smile"
"Khun Sam, stop!! I dont entertain anyone"
"What is with him?"
"Who?"
"Don't play dumb, the one who is very closed with you in office"
"You mean P'pop"
"I don't know? Do I have to know his name?"
"Khun Sam, why do you doubts me"
"What is in-between you two, you two seems so close"
"Khun Sam,  P'Pop is distant relative , and he is like my brother, today is his mother death anniversary, so we talk about her".
"Hmmh,. are you sure you are not an
entertainer"
"Khun Sam!!.. stop the car"
Sam doesn't listen what her wife said. Still driving. At that Mon shouted
"I said stop the car, or I will jump out of it"
Sam stop the car, Mon open the passenger door and went out of the car. Mon is crying in middle of road and waiting for a taxi.

Sam show the situation and she realized she overboard a little to her wife, she came out of car and asked Mon to come to the car. Mon doesn't listen to her and at same time a taxi came and she hopped in and went.

After reaching her house, Sam look for her wife, but couldn’t find her. She try to call but Mon phone is already switched off.
Its alread 8 o'clock, still her wife didn't come home. She feels uneasiness.
Her mom called
"Bunny, where are you?"
"Mom, I am in front of the gate"
"Why?? what are you doing there?"
"We had fight mom and she didn't return       yet, i couldn't contact her"
"Bunny, Mon is with me at the mansion"
"Why you didn't told me before, I have been worried "
"Ok don't worry, go take rest. She will stay here tonight "
"Mom--"
"Don't mom me now, give her some space, What did you do to her ?"
"What?? What did she said?"
"She said nothing, she said she just want to stay here, come in the morning ok"
"Ok mom"
"Take rest"
"You too"

The house feels so empty without her Mon. Sam try to open her heart for her wife and she succeeded a little, but her jealously ruined everything.
They are having good terms but it all goes back to nothing. She couldn't sleep properly,  She miss her wife presence.  Everything feels empty and now she realize, she is falling for her wife.
