Chapter 14

I stared at him, stunned. He wants me to do what now?

"I'm sorry. I don't think I heard you right. Can you repeat that?" I asked, my face looking shocked.

"Kiss me and I will take you home," he coolly says. Damn him.

I peck him on the cheek. "There, now take me home," I grumble under my breathe. Ugh.

"Oh no. That was not a kiss. You have to kiss me. Or else you can walk," he smirks.

I lean in slowly. I don't know if I should do this. Our lips meet, moving in sync. After a few seconds, he licks my bottom lip, asking for entrance. I pull away.

"Now drive," I say.

"I don't know where you live," he states.

"Oh yeah," I give him the directions to my house, and he takes off.

The whole ride was silence. Uncomfortable silence.

"Uhm, we're here, Sam," he says.

"Okay," I say, getting out of his Ford F-250 Super Duty.

"Can I walk you to your door?" He asks. I giggle.

"Sure," I blush. Yep. Blush. I used to never do this! I hate myself...

"So... Bye?" He asks.

"Bye," I smile. I peck him on the cheek. "Thank you."

"For what?" His face reads confusion. I giggle.

"For everything," I say opening the door. I start to go in.

"Wait," Jesse says.

"Hmm?"

I step all the way out again, when I feel his lips smash onto mine. I was shocked, but soon responded. He bites my bottom lip, making my mouth come open. He quickly slips his tongue in my mouth before I can react. My hands find there way up to his messy hair, tangling themselves in it.

I pull away, breathing harder than I ever had before. That was amazing.

I pull away completely. "I'm going to go inside," I rush out.

"No, don't," he holds my wrist. "Will you go out on a date with me?" He asks.

"I'll think about it and text you later," I say. "Goodnight."

"Goodnight," he mumbles and walks to his car.

I walk inside and go to my bedroom. I grab my pajamas. I go into the bathroom and take a relaxing shower. I put on my pajamas and go into my room. I lay down, thinking.

Why do I feel this way about Jesse? Why don't I feel horrible like I should after a breakup? Ugh stupid questions...

"Samantha? Are you going to be okay?" My old best friend, Skylar, asks me.

"I-I think so. I think I've already found someone else. His name is Jesse," I spill. This feels good. I don't know why I'm sobbing though.

"Okay, that's good. Sam, I've got to go, but I'm here for you anytime. Do you got that?" She asks.

"Will you come to my softball game tomorrow? Please?" I ask.

"I won't miss it," she smiles and walks away. I walk after her. I get in my car, and she gets in the passenger seat of another.

I drive home, and get ready for my date that's happening later this evening.
