Marie woke up, looking around she jumped when she noticed dolls, that weren't there last night. They faced her bed and it seemed like she was being stared at continuously, Marie grew up with porcelain dolls and she didn't mind them as much as what other people did however going to bed alone and waking up with them around her really freaked her out. She remembered whose house she was at and suddenly it made sense, Donna was a doll maker.

Marie leaned down and smiled at the attention to detail to one of them, "Could you face away so I could get dressed?" They listened and Marie stepped out of bed and quickly got dressed, "Alright... What do you think?" She asked, the dolls turned and giggled, robotic scratchy sounds that mimicked little girls. Marie took it as a good thing and stepped out of her room, noticing where she was and walking down the stairs, taking a moment to look at the portrait of Angie and Donna that hung on the wall.

Staring at the Lord's face she smiled, the dolls seemed to follow her out of the room she leaned down and smiled at them, "She's pretty, both of them are but I'm not really attracted to dolls romantically." She giggled and traveled down the stairs with dolls trailing her.

Looking around she found the kitchen, two empty plates, and a third set on the counter with some leftover eggs and cheese. Marie hummed and ate the leftovers, finding a note on the table.

Marie hummed, she picked up the dishes and cleaned them up, and she started on laundry next. The doorbell rang and Marie opened it to find her things in front of the door and on the ground, she smiled and carried them inside. The dolls helped and brought everything to her room. "Thank you." She smiled, and they giggled in response. Marie tilted her head, "I'm guessing that Donna controls you? But... Can she hear me when I talk to them?" She gently patted their heads.

Getting up she continued laundry set everything to dry and went back downstairs. She swept the foyer, mopping it as well, then the kitchen, and lastly the living room. She took a moment to make tea for herself and furrowed her brows. She knew that Donna would be busy but she wasn't used to being alone with the company of dolls to stay with her.

Once she finished the tea she made sub sandwiches and found the Lord and her doll in the dining room, where they came from she had no idea, nor did she hear their steps. She set the plates down and Donna looked at her, "We want to know why you aren't eating." Angie snapped, Marie smiled and bowed, "I didn't know I was allowed to sit with you and eat." "Where else would you eat?" Angie looked at her and Marie hummed, "You're not eating off the floor, get a plate and sit with us." The doll looked at her and Marie listened, sitting across from Donna as they ate quietly.

She looked over and Angie was done with hers, confused as to why a doll needed to eat or how it would go through her system but she didn't say anything, getting up she set down a polished silver tray with a tea set, setting Angie's cup in front of hers than Donna's and last hers, pouring them each the same amount of tea.

Donna had finished her meal and disappeared back downstairs, while Marie cleaned the dishes and changed into a pair of jeans and a black shirt, with a handkerchief over her nose and mouth, going out to the garden she found the shack or more like a run-down house for one.

She looked around and found some seeds for yellow flowers and some vegetables, fruits, and different spices and seasonings. She also found an old book, the old gardener's diary she hummed, reading through a couple of pages she read a little bit about Donna.
