3rd Person POV:
"What were you guys doing out there? It's dangerous!" Mrs. Wheeler exclaimed.
"Just going for a midnight swim," Dustin shrugged in a high-pitched voice.
"There is a killer on the loose," One of the officers said.
"We're fine," Wendy waved off.
"Wendy, honey, I know from Mike that you can't lie," Mrs. Wheeler said, now everyone looking at Wendy. Wendy sat on the couch squished between Dustin and Max, hugging a pillow on her lap. "Tell us the truth, what were you guys doing out there?"
Wendy looked at Max and Dustin, both of them giving her wide-eyed looks with a small shake of their heads.
"We plead the fifth," Wendy answered.
The adults groaned at that.
"The only way to get the answer out of them is if we question them one by one," Mr. Wheeler said. "Interrogate them."
"Oh, you'd like that, wouldn't you?" Dustin snarked.
"Don't you have to have a parent or guardian with us? We're minors," Max pointed out.
"Starting with you," The officer pointed to Max. "Let's go."
"Say anything you want," Wendy called to Max as the redhead was taken to a separate room. "It won't matter in court because it wasn't in the presence of our legal guardians!"
"No one would bother to listen to what you say, Wendy, because you can just spew on and on about the mummification process with every little detail," Erica said. "It would waste the police officer's time."
"Erica!" Mrs. Sinclair gasped.
"Just the facts!" Erica crossed her arms.
"I thought we had a nice and beautiful friendship, Erica," Wendy looked at the girl in slight offense. "What happened?"
"I'll get back to you with a list," Erica said.

Wendy snooped around Nancy's room as Dustin, Lucas, and Erica managed to find a way to communicate with Steve, Robin, Nancy, and Eddie from the Upside Down.
"Okay, uh, what if we – Wendy put that back – what if we try and find another Gate?" Dustin asked. "So that we can – stop spraying that – so that we can get you guys back to us?"
Wendy ignored Dustin as she continued to look at Nancy's perfume bottle. Wendy made a mental note of the brand and scent of the perfume, it smells really nice.
"I need Nancy to tell me where she got it!" Wendy said.
"We have more important matters at han– don't look at me like that!" Dustin said. "I'm not asking Nancy! We need to focus!"
"Then I will!" Wendy said then spoke loudly hoping Nancy could hear her. "Nancy! Where did you get your perfume!? It smells really nice!"
"Is she serious?" Erica asked Dustin and Lucas.
"Very," Lucas sighed. He stood up and went towards Wendy. "Wendy, put it back."
"I need to know!" Wendy argued.
"You'll ask her when we see her!" Lucas said, reaching for the perfume bottle in Wendy's hand but Wendy held it away from him.
"Call it a dying girl's wish," Wendy said, avoiding Lucas' advances.
