Sounds of a whisper

Akari's eyes widened as those words escaped Kenji's mouth. He forfeited for no apparent reason. Kenji shrugged placing his hands in his pockets as he spoke to one of the doctors probably trying to get a check up or something. Akari thought was utterly speechless as she sat back down with Asami. "Why did Kenji do that?" Asami asked rather quickly. Akari shook her head briskly "I'm not sure" Akari just stared and thought of why Kenji would do this, her thoughts even drowned out Naruto's vivid screams of surprise.

Kenji entered the medical infirmary, his hands were in his pockets. He sat on a bed waiting to be checked on when he Saw someone across from him petting a duck. "Kanna" he mumbled, "Why did you quit? Thats a bit odd innit?" Kenji raised an eyebrow at her as she scratched the back of her head. "I heard Naruto screaming even from here and plus Shota told me" Shota who was in a different bed stuck a hand up "Wassup" Kanna shrugged her shoulders "He got beat up literately right after you left" Kenji lightly choked on laughter, he didn't want to seem immature.

Kenji stopped talking, he just noticed Kanna's eyes. Her eyes were yellow were yellow like the sun. Kanna shrugged as a soft smile appeared on her lips, she giggled "You know that was really nice what you did for Akari, she seemed really angry with you. It was sweet what you did for her" Kenji nodded his head then laid down. He stared at the wall a shrugged, dang it he thought to himself I've got a crush on Kanna, the Neji enthusiast

A couple fights went on, Shikamaru vs Soundgirl, Naruto vs Kiba, Sakura Vs Ino, That sand guy vs Rock Lee, The other sand guy vs a sound ninja, The sand girl vs TenTen, and finally it was Asami's turn.

"Asami Saratobi vs Kiku Nika"

A sound Ninja, Asami was fighting a sound ninja.

Asami walked towards the platform nervously fiddling with her hair. "Go Asami!" Akari cheered nearly falling off the railing. Akari stood next to team 10, Choji was snarfing down chips while Shikamaru seemed barely interested. Akari looked over to him "You've still got some needles in your arm" She said rather quietly. Shikamaru shrugged his shoulders "What a drag" he groaned. "I could get them out for you" Akari sighed. Shikamaru nodded in agreement not wanting his mother to make a fuss over the needles. Akari softly pulled out the needles, having an enough for a bouquet of them. Shikamaru murmured a small thank you as Akari put them in her pockets.

Asami stood face to face with Kiku, "Let the match begin" Hayate coughed. Asami reached for a Kunai but as soon as she did a gust of sound knocked it out of her hands. Kiku had out some sort of stringed instrument and every string she plucked something happened.

"Ninja art: Weapon summoning!" Kiku played a few notes and in an instant at least a dozen weapons appeared in front of her. Kiku then plucked a string and the instruments plunged towards Asami. Asami quickly dodged getting to the ground easy enough Asami thought. Kiku smirked she plucked a different string and Asami was sent backwards towards the ground, exactly where the weapons were....

"ASAMI"

Akari let out a shrill scream as her teammate fell to the ground which was now stained with her blood. "The winner is Kiku Nika" Hayate mumbled at the horrific scene. With in an instant the medics rushed through with a stretcher to load Asami. As soon as she was lifted they immediately rushed her to the surgical ward.
