AU: Horror
Context: Somebody saw something they shouldn't.

[Rainbow's POV]
Alright, I think I got all of it.
Cleaning up all of that blood took a while, but now this corner of the Hub doesn't look like anything suspicious. Just a normal part of the wall instead of a big blood spatter where I panicked and swung a hammer into an escaping jerk's skull. Seriously, how'd he survive that arrow-? I thought I've been getting better at shooting, but I must've missed the crucial vein I was aiming for.
Finally done, I put the cloth back into the bucket full of burgundy water and start to carry it to the back of the Hub so I can dump it out without the bloodied cloth and water being seen. A few friends from the village are supposed to visit soon, and they can't see that.
As I reach the wooded area that surrounds the Hub, I find a good, hidden spot and empty the bucket onto the dirt. It makes a weird-looking mud, but kicking a few small piles of leaves onto it covers it up nicely. Now I can put these cleaning supplies away and go back to playing with Gerald and Sabre!
As I start to walk back, though... I swear I heard something. Like footsteps in the leaves.
I look around for whatever could've made that sound, trying not to make it obvious I'm searching for it. If someone's here and they know I'm looking for them, they'll just run away.
More leaves crunch behind me. They're getting closer.
I still pretend I don't hear it, carefully placing a hand on the handle of the axe I carry around.
Closer.
Closer.
...
Now.
I drop the bucket and quickly swing the axe behind me, just barely missing Reverse's shoulder. He jumps back, glaring at me as he brandishes a dagger.
"Now what were you doing out here?" Reverse says. I know he's trying to tease me so he can make me angry and catch me off guard.
"Nothing that you should make your business." I reply. "What are you doing here?"
"I suppose I have the same answer, 'Hero'."
"It is my business when you're intruding." I say, glaring right back at him.
"I'm only trying to take what's rightfully mine."
He lunges at me, and I step out of the way of his blade. I swing my axe, and get a really good hit on his other arm. He screeches and claws at the wound, still hanging onto the dagger.
I'm about to swing again, when he suddenly teleports away, and my axe whiffs air where his head used to be. The axe sticks into the ground, and I pull it out. There's now another blood puddle where Reverse was standing.
Man, I just cleaned blood off the east wall...
I sigh and pick the bucket back up, heading down to my house so I can refill it. The blood might be on the ground, but it's not watered down and not just on dirt, so it's not going to take care of itself by sinking into the soil.
Walking down the path, I wonder if he saw anything.
...What if he knows?
