Poppy and y/n embarked on a baking together. The warm aroma of freshly baked goods filled the air as they bounced around the shop, whipping up sweet treats for all to enjoy. Poppy, being the skilled baker that she was, graciously took them under her wing, teaching them the art of creating delectable desserts.

"...and then you mixed the entire ingredients and put it into the cup"

"Got it!"

Now, they must confess that their enthusiasm sometimes got the better of them. On one particularly eventful day, they managed to nearly burn down the entire kitchen in their zealous attempt to assist Poppy. It was a moment of excitement gone awry.

Undeterred by their misstep, Poppy gracefully recovered from the mishap and decided it was time to teach them some cherished 'family' recipes. As she shared her culinary secrets, they couldn't help but be captivated by her skill, her passion, and her innate ability to turn ordinary ingredients into mouthwatering masterpieces.

"Have you tried garlic bread before?"

"I do, but I'm sure it's more delicious when you're the one making it" They grin widely and Poppy laughed softly, flattered by their words

They worked tirelessly, their laughter filling the room as they crafted pies with flaky crusts, cakes with luscious frosting, and cookies that melted in their mouth. The hours slipped away, unnoticed and unimportant, as their shared love for baking brought them closer together.

During their creative frenzy, Home finally returned. Home, a mysterious figure who possessed an air of secrecy. He never revealed where he had been whenever he disappeared, always citing "business" as his reason.

"What's up, dude!" They exclaimed, struggling to put back the flour

Home shook his head and simply let out a soft hum "Nothing much, been busy lately" he shrugged, grabbing that weird massive book behind the bookshelf

"You're always busy..."

Home shrugs as he grabs one of Poppy's tarts "Training will start in the afternoon don't miss it"

"Yeah-yeah whatever" they wave their hand lazily

As he joined them during their baking flurry, they couldn't help but feel a pang of annoyance at his sudden reappearance, after leaving them to imagine countless scenarios of his whereabouts.

With a mischievous grin, they playfully pouted and urged him to join their baking escapade. But, as usual, Home explained he was busy with something important, leaving the details shrouded in mystery. Though irritated, they decided to focus on the task at hand and continued to create a final batch of cookies with Poppy.

"I bet he had a secret wife or something" they muttered

Yet, as they rolled the dough between their hands, their eyes occasionally strayed towards Poppy's left wing, or rather, the absence thereof. Curiosity got the better of them, a powerful pull within their being. With a respectful and gentle tone, they finally mustered the courage to ask Poppy about her missing arm.

"Hey um, Poppy?"

"Yes, dear?" She softly said, keeping her eyes focused on her little task, pouring the sweetness into the baked cake before letting out a satisfied smile

"I just wonder, what happened to your left wings?" They raised their eyebrows with pursed lips

Poppy's hands paused in her motion, and she took a deep breath, gathering her thoughts. Hesitant but seems willing to share "Oh this?" She points towards the bandage lost left wings with a soft chuckle
