Scott and Jean were heading back to the mansion after dinner and saw a portal opened in front of them and a little boy with green hair came out. Jean went to the boy to see if he was okay and read his mind. She had tears in her eyes because she saw that he was abused and neglected by his birth parents and bullied by his former friends and sister. Jean hugged the poor boy and asked Scott if they could take him back to the mansion. Scott nodded his head and took the boy back to the mansion where he'll be raised by them and learn his powers in order to become a hero.
