Alex Branwen never had a good life. His birth family abused and neglected him except for his father and his dog. When his father died from a Grimm attack, his family abuse him even more. Alex then ran away and was adopted by the Yagis and they were the same. Izumi and her friends bully him for something he doesn't have control over, but he did have power. Why did he decide to keep to himself? He didn't want to endanger them. It wasn't until he got to Union that he unleashed his power during a match between his former families. He left Union because the Huntsman, Huntresses, and Heroes are nothing more than power-hungry people.
A few months later, his old life wanted him to come back, but he refused to come back to the hellhole he once was at.
