Hello cats! Unfortunately, I don't get to beat up Nemona because of Penny, but one day she will pay. You can count on it.
Nemona: I'd rather not actually.
Me: No-one asked you if you didn't notice.
Nemona: *snorts and turns her head away from me* Hmph!
Me: What do you mean Hmph?! I should be doing that!
Nemona: So do it then.
Me: Alright then! Sure! *Does the exact same thing as Nemona* Hmph! *whispers* You can read the chapter now.

I make it to the bottom of the steps and contemplate just camping out here, but then I remember I was was meant to be somewhere near the Levincia gym, sulking about how I didn't get to see it for real. I bring out a Pokeball from my pocket and roll it onto the ground. A Corvinight appears and caws loudly.
"Yes, hello." I say, acknowledging its eager greeting as if it hadn't seen me in ages. " Could you do a quick flight to Levincia please? Just outside a hotel will be fine, thanks." It nods and takes one scape of the ground with its claw, grass and mud flying up. It hits me in the eye, and I totally forget to jump on its back in my disgust.
"Wait up man!" I run after it, praying that I can grab onto it before it stops skimming the ground. My fingers reach out and manage to lock onto a leg before it fully soars into the sky. My mouth's forced open by the wind battering my face. My hair bobble has gone somewhere, because my hair's absolutely everywhere. It feels as if it's being ripped off my scalp, yet I like it. The rush of adrenaline which comes with these crazy stunts is what got me into spying in the first place. Though I had to practically change everything about me entirely. And I kind of miss old me.
I grab onto its saddle and haul myself onto it. I land in a starfish shape, out of breath. After a few deep breaths I properly position myself and let out a sigh, before laughing. I don't know why, but I just feel a bit giddy at 9pm for no good reason.
I stop when I see a dark shadow appear above me. I originally think it's a rain cloud, but I hear a metallic screech, female if possible. I instantly realise what I've done and what's above me. The pink gremlin bashes Corvinight in the face repeatedly, and even knocks me on the back on my head at one point. Corvinight stops moving forward and starts moving downward, and I realise I'm quite close to my death. I've never done something in my career so far that can kill me, but this is probably the point where I can't try to anymore.
There isn't really much I can do.
I close my eyes and put my head to Corvinight. "I'm sorry." I mutter in my head, and I can almost see my memories flashing before my eyes, like coloured clouds floating into vision, and vapouring just as quickly. Something that looks like my mum and dad pointing to our family tree blurs into my imagination, and I realise how much I've strayed to my purpose. I'm a descendant of Iris's generation, for heaven sake! How can I literally be working against my family's morals. I have to do...
Everything comes to a halt - my thoughts, memories, and my body. I tentatively open my eyes, thinking that I'm in the afterlife, but shockingly, I'm floating in mid-air. There's a stabbing pain in my side, and I look down. A red creature is holding me in its mouth, but it eventually places me on the ground, or more of drops me. I stand up, dizzy and woozy, and take a proper look at it.
It's red, and has feathery things coming out of its head and back. A wheel like thing is on its stomach, and its hands were webbed. Two long appendages came off its face, like eyebrows. It barked at me and nudged my Corvinight. I crawled over and offered the bird a Pecha berry. It ate it in one go and grunted. "Alright, nap time." I brought out the Pokeball and tapped it on the head.
