Hi again! I'm back with another chapter of HalfHuman! Fun fact: The reason why the front cover is blue and pink is because those are the colours of Hisuian Zorua mist, blue being shiny and pink being non shiny.
Raven: Fun fact: I am shiny. Do not stereotype me to the pink that you imagine. I wouldn't like that. Right I can't think of anything else to say.
Me: Lucky for you, I do. To keep you cats updated on the book, I was writing in a car today because we were going shopping for practically the whole day and I wanted to write. However, it seems like the precious words that I wrote (approximately 1500 words) decided that it wanted to be an idiot and not save even though I was using a hotspot for Wi-Fi. Because of that, I might not write for a bit, to process my anger at the words who betrayed me.
Raven: Man, that's trash. That means that I can't do anything anymore. I'll be frozen in time until you write more. Please write fast. I don't like being still overnight.
Me: Well you're going to have to because I don't tend to stay up late writing so much and I'm having a movie night.
Raven: Awww.
Me: But, I might, just might go through the stress of staying up again to write.
Raven: Yay!
Me: But I probably won't because we're going shopping again tomorrow and I don't want the same thing to happen.
Raven: Awwww. Actually, I'd rather not be reverted in time so that's a good thing.
Me: Do not fear, I have good news! I'm first place ranked in the PokeomonScarlet tag! Let's go! Wahoo! *throws confetti in the air and scoffs ice-cream* BURP! Sorry, just ate too much in one sitting. Just a bit happy and angry at the same time. Anyways, the rest of my rankings have gone up as well, so yeah. You may be wondering how I'm posting this. Well that's because clever me had written a chapter before all of this happened. I'm just so smart like that.
I would have liked to post an extra chapter to celebrate, but I was meant to finish that extra chapter today. You see, I started writing this concept for a while before I verified my account so I could post things. So I had written about 4 chapters by then, and I was posting them whilst writing drafts at the same time. So I had written this chapter that you're reading right now, and I intended to finish Chapter 6 as well, but you know what happened. I didn't see my rating then and I was stuck in a bad mood, but now I'm happy (and sad) because I saw my rating.
Now I'm a bit paranoid that I might lose my prestigious title so I'm kind of forced to continue writing now. I'm not sure what to do. I'll definitely take tomorrow off since the same dumb thing will happen and I don't want to relive it. If it makes it up for you guys, this chapter will be slightly longer than normal, since I added my speech. Anyways, enjoy the book and enjoy the thrill of reading a first class book! Sorry, I'm just getting ecstatic about this. I'm extremely happy. Forgive me if I ever say something stupid.
"This is Cortondo." Penny pointed to a cube shaped building in the distance. "That's the store I was on about. I usually use the computers there when I'm away from the academy."
Me and Penny had arrived at Cortondo to get the money I was promised. I had never really owned money, since my parents hid it around the house so I didn't find it and spend it on what they would call 'useless junk'. With useless junk being all the stuff that the other kids had back at Hisui, it still made no sense why I couldn't have it. It was only an effort to fit in, which they didn't approve of.
"So, are Koraidon and Gimmighoul allowed to go in?" I asked when we stopped in front of the rental store.
"Well, I don't think Koraidon could fit in here. Does it not have a Pokeball or something?"
