Entering the lab, Mikey saw Donnie at his desk looking into a microscope.
"Hey D, how's it going ?" (Mikey)
He asked, approaching the desk.
"We'll I think I've successfully broken down the substance. It seems that the compound he was hit with had reversed the outlining and plasma membrane of the nucleus in Raph's cells, shrinking the nucleolus and the centrioles abnormally. The serum reversed the contributor of the mitosis process. The telomere chromosomes are at a critical minimal size as it's still persisting in its division process. The mitosis process of the cell has been reversed back to its primary stage as it still disseminates and divides in cellular senescence. I just have to find a way to reverse the process by speeding it up." (Donnie)
Donnie was explaining what he found out more to himself then specifically to Mikey.
"Uhhh, cool bro. So do you know how to make the anecdote ?" (Mikey)
The confused turtle looked at the genius and Donnie sighed.
"Yes, but it's gonna take a few days to spin in my centrifuge." (Donnie)
With that, the genius started gathering his ingredients and supplies.
"I'll leave ya to it then. Good luck, Donnie !" (Mikey)
Mikey left the lab, finding Leo in the living room area with Raph playing on the floor with some toys.
"Where are April and Casey ?"(Mikey)
The youngest noticed their friends weren't in sight.
"They went home to change and go to school. They'll be back later." (Leo)
Raph was chewing on a set of plastic keys and watching his brothers talk like he was following the conversation.
It made both brothers laugh a bit.
"Donnie's gonna change you back, Raph. Don't worry." (Mikey)
Mikey leaned in and placed his forehead on Raph's and the smaller turtle grabbed his cheeks and cooed quietly.
"Ike" (Raph)
"Awweeee, he said my name !" (Mikey)
The orange turtle picked Raph up and spun around excitedly then sat with him in his lap so he could still play with the toys.
"I'm gonna go get some practice in. Are you going to be ok with him alone ?" (Leo)
Mikey and Raph smiled at each other.
"We'll be fine." (Mikey)
"If you say so. Shout if you need me." (Leo)
After about an hour of Raph playing, Mikey noticed the baby started to throw the toys around a bit roughly.
"Woah, what a temper." (Mikey)
He giggled at the small turtle but stopped when he noticed Raph was starting to cry.
Mikey quickly scooped the baby into his arms and tried to soothe him.
"Ike...D.D..." (Raph)
Knowing what Raphael meant, Mikey ran to the lab and up to their brother who was reading something on his computer.
"Donnie, Raphie is crying for you." (Mikey)
Raph just about leapt into Donnie's arms before Mikey could hand him over.
"What's wrong, Raphie ?" (Donnie)
The baby wiggled uncomfortably in Donnie's lap and it made the genius nervous.
"Maybe he's in pain because of his teeth ? Mikey, can you make me a baby bottle of warm milk please." (Donnie)
Mikey ran from the lab as quickly as he could and returned a few minutes later with a bottle in hand.
"Thanks." (Donnie)
Donnie took the bottle from his brother and laid Raph in his arms and tried to feed him the bottle.
"No. No..... Daddy !" (Raph)
Suddenly the baby was wailing at the top of his lungs and it startled both teens a bit.
A moment later, MS came running into the lab.
"Donatello, Michelangelo, what is happening ?" (MS)
Splinter took the child from Donnie and started to rock him on his chest, hushing him to calm the little one.
"I don't know, Sensei. He was fine one minute, then cried for Donnie so I brought him in here. Then I made him some milk to calm him down and he cried for you." (Mikey)
"He seems in some kind of distress. Donatello, would you please examine him." (MS)
Donnie gathered a few of his doctor supplies and came back to his desk and started examining the baby.
"His heart rate is kinda high. He doesn't have a fever though. Hmmm, maybe..."
(Donnie)
The genius didn't finish his sentence and had the others on edge.
"Maybe what, Donnie ?" (Mikey)
The purple turtle went over to his computer and typed a few things in, muttering to himself.
"It's possible his body is trying to fight the liquid coursing through his bloodstream that's making him a baby. If that's the case then he should be going through a growth spurt any minute. Which is good, but can also be somewhat painful." (Donnie)
MS hugged Raph to his chest, hoping to comfort his small son as best he can with what's happening inside his tiny body.
It was dead silent in the lab as the three older mutants waited to see what was gonna happen to their brother and son.
Suddenly a loud explosion was heard from outside the lab and they turned to see Tiger Claw and FishFace standing there with foot bots behind them.
"Get the baby." (Tiger Claw)
The command barely left the cat's mouth as the bots circled the turtles and their Sensei.
Mikey and Donnie drew their weapons and stood on either side of MS and Raph with their shells to their father.
Before anything could happen, MS handed the baby to Mikey.
"Get Raphael out of here." (MS)
Mikey put his nunchucks away and held the baby to his chest as he cried.
"Wait, what about-" (Mikey)
"There is no time Michelangelo. Just go ! Find Leonardo. If not, then leave the lair and go as far as you can. Protect your brother." (MS)
With that, MS kissed Raph's forehead and pat Mikey on the head before they were all attacked.
Mikey held Raphael in one arm and his nunchuck in the other as he fought his way out of the lab and past Tiger Claw and FishFace towards the dojo.
He found Leo in the dojo fighting off Rahzar and a bunch of Foot ninja.
"Leo !" (Mikey)
"No Mikey, run !" (Leo)
With the command from his leader, Mikey took off just as Rahzar tried to run after him.
Leo stopped the dog before he could leave the dojo and go after his brothers.
"You may not have my brother that easily mutt !" (Leo)
Mikey ran out of the lair and had to run through the sewers to lose the foot bots that followed him.
But once he lost them, he stopped and leaned against the wall panting.
He looked down to the baby in his arms who had tears running down his face.
"It's ok, Raphie. It's gonna be ok. Mikey's here." (Mikey)
He got the baby to sleep and sat down on the sewer floor and sighed.
"What the shell do I do now ?" (Mikey)
