Baby Raphie

Part 6

They got up to the surface and started building jumping with Donnie in front, followed by April, Leo, Mikey and Casey. They stopped after about half an hour and Leo lead the exercises they would usually do. After the exercises, Leo was so tired from doing them and with Raph on his chest while doing it. So they traded Raph off to Donnie.

They were running for an hour when they heard some noise coming from the streets. While Donnie traded Raph to April, Leo looked over the side to see what all the noise was. He saw Purple Dragons in Murakami's restaurant.

"Come on team, we've got to save Mr. M. Mikey cover April. April watch Raph, ok." (Leo)

Mikey and April nodded to Leo and they jumped down and charged into Mirikami's with their weapons drawn.

They got in and immediately ate Purple Dragons froze. They saw April and baby Raph and started laughing.

"Awwwww, little baby." (Sid)

"Shut up ! Well, I guess we have ourselves a fun filled evening. We get to beat some turtle shell !" (Fong)

Fong went for April so Leo jumped in front of her and fought Fong. April and Mikey fought Sid, while Donnie and Casey fought the other one.

Once they started beating the PD's butts, Leo noticed Raph was covering his eyes and April was doing her best to fight and keep Raph calm. Leo beat Fong and he ran off so Leo went over to April, Raph, Mikey and Sid. He went to Raph and Raph caught Mikey hitting Sid with his nunchucks. Raph started crying and wanted Leo to pick him up. Leo picked him up out of the harness and laid Raph on his shoulder and patted his shell soothingly to make him stop crying.

"Shhh, it's ok Raph. It's ok." (Leo)

‍‍Once they beat the remaining two PD's, Leo sat down at the stools next to where April was, with Murakami on the other side in the kitchen area. Mikey, Casey and Donnie sat next to April and Leo as they told Murakami about how Raph came to be a baby.

After an hour of trying to get Raph to stop crying, he finally stopped and Leo laid him sideways in his arms and got him his 'Fuzzy' out of the diaper bag and he fell asleep.

"It was very brave of Raphael to save you like that Michelangelo. He must be one amazing brother." (Mr. M)

"He is." (Mikey, Donnie and Leo)

April smiled and hugged Leo and let him lay against her seeing Leo was sad and a bit tired from caring for Raph the most. Donnie looked over at Leo and Raph and noticed Leo was nodding off, still leaning against April and sleeping Raph was still snuggled in his arms against his plastron.

"We should head home Leo." (Donnie)

"Why ? There's still...a while of.....training...to do." (Leo)

Everyone noticed all the words that came out of Leo's mouth were slurred, so Mikey went over to Leo and took Raph from him and Raph didn't wake up. Leo jumped since Mikey startled him and got defensive.

"Hey !" (Leo)

"Bro, you're almost asleep in this stool. We should go home." (Mikey)

"No, im, I'm ine...fine !" (Leo)

Leo shook his head trying to wake up a bit and April put her hands on either side, where his shoulder blades would be, on his shell.

"Leo, we're calling it a night. Casey will watch Raph and carry him home. Donnie, Mikey and I will watch you." (April)

Being too tired to argue Leo got up and they walked home. Casey wearing the harness and cradling Raph to his chest as he slept to keep him still as he could while roof jumping. When they walked through the turnstiles of the lair, Splinter was there to greet them.

Splinter helped Casey get the harness off and keep Raph asleep. Splinter gave the harness to April and Raph to Casey.

"It is only 10:30, you six are usually gone till at least 12. Did something happen ?" (Splinter)

"No Master Splinter, everything is fine. We're just tired." (Donnie)

When Donnie said that he was standing next to Leo, with Mikey on the other side of Leo, who was almost asleep standing up.

"Ah, I see. Leonardo, you may retire to bed now my son." (Splinter)

Donnie and Mikey both have to touch Leo to get him to be aware of his surroundings which startled him awake for a moment then back into his tiredness

"Don't let Raph go !" (Leo)

"Go to bed bro." (Mikey)

"No Mickey I'm fin." (Leo)

Leo puts his arm around Mikey's shoulder just in time for Leo to pass out on Mikey.

"Leo !" (Mikey)

Mikey lowers himself and his oldest brother to the ground and everyone surrounds them. Donnie starts checking Leo to make sure he can diagnose him properly.

"What happened Donnie ?" (Casey)

"I think...he passed out from exhaustion." (Donnie)

"What did you all do tonight ?" (Splinter)

"We did some normal exercises, Leo carried Raph for them but he acted fine. So we started running and found some purple dragons in Mr. M's restaurant and we beat them. Leo took Raph from April since he was crying and Leo and Raph fell asleep in the stools. So we made him come home." (Donnie)

"So he should not have passed out." (Splinter)

"We should let him rest for now." (Donnie)

Donnie and Mikey help, unconscious, Leo to his room and Casey sits on the couch with Raph still soundly asleep cuddling into Casey's shirt. April went over to Casey once Mikey, Leo, Donnie and Splinter were out of the room, and sat next to him.

"Hey Casey. Do you want me to put Raph to bed for you ?" (April)

"Nah, I got him Red." (Casey)

Casey didn't move from his embrace on the baby that was once his friend.

"Casey ?" (April)

"Can I just...hang with him for a bit. I won't wake him up I promise." (Casey)

"Sure Casey. But it's getting late and we have school tomorrow. So we'll have to leave soon." (April)

" You got it Red." (Casey)

Raph snuggled into Casey's chest and Casey leaned back to get comfortable with Raph cradled in his arms sound asleep. April went to Leo's room to check on Leo, Donnie and Mikey to make sure everything was still ok.

When April found everything was ok with Leo, she went back to see Casey and the baby. She saw Casey and Raph still in their same spot, but Casey had fallen asleep snuggling with the baby still cradled in his arms.

April let them sleep like that, Mikey slept in his room, Leo slept in Leo's room, Donnie fell asleep in his lab, April went over to the couch and slept next to Casey.
