Baby Raphie

Part 9

They watched some tv and Leo and April did some sparing until, at noon, Donnie woke up and came out to the living room looking half dead.

"Woah D, you did sleep right ?" (Mikey)

Donnie just shot him a death look and sat down in between Mikey and Casey on the couch.

A minute later Leo walked out of the dojo and into the kitchen, then out of the kitchen with a mug in his hands and walked over to Donnie and have it to him.

"Mhmmm, Coffee." (Donnie)

Donnie takes the mug from Leo and drinks some.

"Thought you might want some when you woke up." (Leo)

"Thanks Leo." (Donnie)

"Alright guys, while Raph's asleep, we're going to do some training. Splinter's orders." (Leo)

"Man, now we don't have Raph to give you shit about training." (Mikey)

"Language Michelangelo !" (Splinter)

"Whoops, my bad Sensei." (Mikey)

"Geez Mikey. Right as Master Splinter walked into the room. I'll have to give you lessons..." (Casey)

"No !!" (Leo, April and Donnie)

"Mikey mouth doesn't need to be like Raph's mouth." (Leo)

"That would be bad." (Donnie)

Then they all go into the dojo with sadness in the air.

(Sitting left to right in the dojo; Leo, Donnie, April, Mikey, Casey)

"Today we will spar two on two. Leonardo and Mr. Jones, Miss. O'Neil and Michelangelo." (Splinter)

"What about Donnie, Sensei ?" (Mikey)

Splinter smiled cheekily at his purple son and looked back up and wiped the smile off his face.

"Donatello will spar with me." (Splinter)

"Nice knowing ya bro, I'm gonna miss you." (Mikey)

Leo smacks Mikey and everyone looks at Leo with confused looks on their faces.

"What ? Someone has to." (Leo)

Donnie and Casey smile and they all begin sparing.

"Wait !! Why am I with Leo ?" (Casey)

"I believe it will give you a challenge Mr. Jones." (Splinter)

Leo smiles evilly at Casey out of the corner of his mouth and Casey looks scared.

"Don't worry Jones, I'll go easy on ya." (Leo)

Leo winks at Casey and Casey takes a shuddered breath.

"Hajime." (Splinter)

Casey and Leo start and Mikey and April start. Donnie is hesitant as he approaches his master.

"Um, master ? Don't you usually spar with Leo ?" (Donnie)

"Yes, Donatello, I do. But I would like to see where your skills lye as I already know where Leonardo's skills are." (Splinter)

Then they all start sparing and Master Splinter beats Donnie's shell and Leo whips Casey into cream. April and Mikey are pretty even match so their fight took longer and April won.

"Well done everyone Now...Leonardo and Donatello step up." (Splinter)

"Donnie and I ? But I usually go up against Mikey." (Leo)

"Yes, but Donatello is improving his skills Leonardo, so I would like him to spar with you." (Splinter)

"Hai Sensei." (Leo)

Leo and Donnie spar and Leo wins (of course) and Splinter steps up and Donnie sits down.

"Well done Leonardo."

Leo sheathes his katana and bows to Master Splinter.

"Thank you Sensei."

"Now Ms. O'Neil, step up." (Splinter)

"Leonardo step up to your opponent." (Splinter)

"Hajime." (Splinter)

(Of course) It was a close call, but Leo beats April and she sits down.

"Leonardo, your skills are almost that of a Ninjitsu Master. I have little to tech you from here. I think it would be best if you assist Donatello and Mr. Jones on their skills while I check on Raphael." (Splinter)

"Hai Sensei. Thank you Sensei." (Leo)

Master Splinter walks out of the dojo and to his eldest son's room where the crib is set up for the new baby and opens the door slowly.

He walks in and Raph is laying on his shell cuddling with his blanket and teething on his fingers.

"Hello Raphael, you were always the most calm of your brothers. Would you like to come out now ?" (Splinter)

Raph was quiet for a minute. Almost thinking about what Splinter has said.

"Dayee ?" (Raph)

"Yes Raphael ?" (Splinter)

"Owie." (Raph)

Raph stays laying down but points to his mouth as tears start to form in the baby's eyes.

"I know little Raphael. You are growing teeth of your own. It is going to be owie for now. Come, let's get you an ice cube for your teething." (Splinter)

Splinter picks the small turtle up and Raph's forming tears dry up and Raph grabs MS's hand instead of his own and starts chewing on his fingers.

Splinter smiles at his, now a baby, son as he walks to the kitchen where April and Mikey are sitting and talking.
