Baby Raphie

Part 12

When they got to the building where it said Leo was, they looks for a minute and saw Leo face down in a ball hugging his midsection and shivering. 

“LEO !!!” (Donnie and Mikey) 

Donnie and Mikey run to their oldest brother and get down next to him. 

“Leo ? Can you hear me ? Leo !” (Donnie) 

Donnie picks Leo up off the ground and holds him in his arms and gets as close as he can to him to warm Leo’s body temperature. 

Mikey drapes the blanket around Leo and right away Leo’s body shook so bad Donnie was basically vibrating. 

“Leo !!” (Mikey) 

Mikey touched Leo’s cheeks with his warm hands and Leo’s hand slowly and shakily reached up and touched Mikey’s right hand. 

“Leo !!” (Donnie) 

The brothers look down to see Leo’s eyes opened barely and his body still shaking. 

“It’s ok Leo we’re here. It’s ok. We’ll  get you home and warm safely.” (Donnie) 

As Donnie reassured Leo everything was ok, Mikey started to put Leo’s jacket and sweatpants on him. And once that was done, they stood Leo up and wrapped the blanket around his body to keep the heat in and Donnie got on his left and Mikey on his right and they huddled together to group their warmth and give it to Leo. 

Once they got moving, Leo’s body started to shake less and they slowed down a bit. 

“D-Donnie.” (Leo) 

Leo put his arm out of the blanket and reached towards Donnie. 

Donnie put his hand in Leo’s and spoke softly but confidently to his older brother. 

“What is it Leo ? I’m right here.” 

“I c-can’t f-f-f-feel m-m-my f-f-feet.” (Leo) 

“We’re almost home bro.” (Mikey) 

“We’ll get you warm in no time.” (Donnie) 

Donnie and Mikey reach the lair entrance with Leo walking slowly and April and Casey run to them. 

“Leo !!” (Casey) 

“Weo” (Raph) 

Raph reaches out to Leo but Casey hold Raph tighter and Donnie and Mikey hurry Leo to his bed and get him under the blanket still with his clothes and blanket wrapped around him. 

Donnie sits on the edge of Leo’s bed and touches his forehead. 

Leo leans into Donnie’s warm hand and Donnie frowns. 

“He’s got a first bite, a fever and hypothermia.” (Donnie) 

“M-Mikey…” (Leo)

Leo tries to look around the room for Mikey and he automatically appears next to him and puts his hand on Leo’s shoulder. 

“What is it bro ?” (Mikey) 

“W-will y-you l-lay w-with m-m-me p-p-please ?” (Leo) 

“Of course bro.” (Mikey) 

Mikey gets under the blankets with Leo and cuddles up to him. 

“You’re freezing.” (Mikey) 

“Y-you’re warm.” (Leo) 

“Why did you want Mikey to lay with you ? He’ll talk the whole time.” (Casey) 

“H-e’s the warmest.” (Leo) 

“Point taken.” (Casey.) 

“I have to go work on Raph’s serum. Mikey, you ok with Leo ?” (Donnie) 

“We’re good D.” (Mikey) 

“Good. Leo, call me if Mikey gets too annoying to handle.” (Donnie) 

Leo lightly laughs and nods his head. 

“You g-got it D.” 

April, Casey and Donnie leave Leo’s room and shut the door. 

“Casey, I can take Raph if you want me to.” (Donnie) 

Raph holds his arms out to Donnie and has a sad look on his face. 

“I guess he decided for you guys.” (April) 

Donnie grabbed Raph from Casey and Raph laid his head on Donnie’s shoulder near his neck and played with the lip of his plastron looking at his fingers as they played. 

“Come on Raphie, let's get you changed back.” 

Donnie walks to the lab cuddling Raph and shuts his doors behind him.
