Delilah walked back from the gate and into the Alnus Hill JSDF base where a group of JSDF soldiers escorted her.
From what it seems a few American news reporters were there to watch over the court case, with a few Marines assisting the JSDF in calming down the reporters as the court case went.
With the help of Aiden siding with the JSDF in a so-called "accidental spar" Delilah was let go under probation.
"Welcome back Miss Delilah!" Aiden said with an almost scary smile, he went through hell and back to make sure this woman came back safely, all for some guy's soft heart... if Jackson wasn't the medic of the team he might have just let her be executed.
Aiden stood alone, looking at the group of JSDF and saluting to them as Delilah stared right back at him.
"What do you want?" Delilah asked blankly, almost glaring at Aiden.
"A bit harsh for someone who vouched for your life. Follow me." Aiden turned around, walking to the main area of Alnus Hill.
Delilah did follow, it was obvious she had a lot of restraint in her voice, holding back some anger. "I never asked you to vouch for my life."
"You're right, Jackson did. Not me. Do you know who your prohibition officer is?" Aiden turned his head to glance at the warrior bunny as he continued to walk down the dirt road.
Delilah slowly figured out what Aiden was trying to get to. "No. I was told I would know when I returned home."
Aiden gave a small chuckle while keeping a smile. "Well your probation officer is someone in the JSDF, but it seems that I was able to break a small compromise." Aiden continued to walk to the tavern as Delilah stopped.
"What are you planning to do?" Delilah glared at Aiden as the PsyOps officer only shrugged.
"Introducing you to your team. You hurt one of my men, and now you're going to be the one to ensure his safety until he recovers." Aiden's smile fades away as he only glares back at Delilah.
"I wouldn't want to keep the others waiting, I didn't tell them about the news yet as I just got back from the compromise." Aiden walks inside the tavern, opening the double doors as he waits for Delilah to walk inside.
Ryan, Claire, and Jason all sat in the booth, with Jackson resting on a chair at the end of the table. With the help of a few painkillers, he was able to walk himself around the town, but the escort of one person from the team was always with him. Of course, his injury made him extremely slow and usually had to rest frequently, not to mention the times when his mental state got the better of him.
Druilla was at the table as usual, always following Jason around.
Aiden's boots would clack on the wooden floorboards as he walked to his team all sat at the usual table.
Delilah followed behind him with some distance between the two.
Ryan turned his head, looking at Aiden as he waved. "You're finally back, I was hoping to-" Ryan's eyes squint to Delilah as he slides out of the booth, one hand on his M18 as he stands in front of Aiden, glancing over his shoulder to look at Delilah. "The hell are you doing bringing her here?"
Aiden put his hands forward, he knew Ryan might start acting like this, and he wasn't going to take another chance at another one of his teammates getting hurt. "Calm down, let me explain myself. Besides I'm pretty sure that pistol won't do much against Delilah, Jackson would know."
Jackson slowly glances at the two before giving a half-assed 'fuck you' smile to Aiden. "Lieutenant's right, dodged all of my shots."
"You weren't really a good shot to begin with Aiden." Jason jokes, he was quite anxious with Delilah around also but he didn't want to alert Druilla who still hung to his arm while getting drunk on her 2nd beer.
