Thanks to your comments, we are CERTAINLY keeping Prince Kieran.
This is a great decision because it will help explain the "other Kaelans". Characters like Princess Faye and Prince Kieran along with a new character I'll add will make up the "other Kaelans".
I'll also be revisiting Dargan's story to include Prince Kieran before the massacre and also the return of Prince Relian (the abdicator) after the massacre.
