A gush of hair combed through his hair when Jay opened the dorm door. The living room was the first thing that came into view and with that, he saw Jungwon sitting on the couch. He didn't react when the door opened which in a way hurts (like it is natural impulse to look when something makes noise) but Jay just sighed and toes off his shoes after he locked the door behind him.

It was a bit late if the fact that Jay was at Jake's place for a while is out into consideration. The clock on the stove revealed the time; 7:24 pm. He dropped his keys on the counter and slowly shrugged his jacket off, trying to suppress as much noise as possible.

The television flashed scenes and shots of some drama and a part of Jay was shocked that Jungwon decided to watch something instead of study the entire time.

He stepped into the living room gingerly, and gave a small glance at Jungwon who still hadn't even turned his head to peer at Jay. Nescient animosity bit at him and who decided to speak up, "You're not gonna check when someone enters the dorm? I could've been an intruder."

But Jungwon does not respond, and Jay huffed. "Hey," he murmured a more gentle approach.

After a short while he stepped towards the couch carefully, and crouched to meet Jungwon's height. A pinch of guilt acquainted his realization. Of course he was sleeping.

Jay looked back at the tv out of curiosity to see what he was watching, some random fantasy. He reached for the remote and paused it (he chose to ignore the fact that Jungwon was using his Netflix account to do so because what's the point on getting angry or frustrated with someone who was sleeping?).

Jungwon had yet to stir, but his chest was slowly heaving and that was enough confirmation that he was at least alive.

Is he cute?

Jay scoffed at Jake's statement once more, of course he wanted to know, but he looked back at Jungwon and thought about it.

He was different when he was sleeping, but different in the way most were. Jungwon wasn't snapping at him for something little or remarking with a snarky comment, he was just sleeping, relaxed.

His eyes weren't glaring, nor were his eyebrows furrowed; instead his eyelashes fanned out overtop the pale of his cheeks.

He wasn't scowling, or frowning at whatever Jay said, but it wasn't like he was smiling either; but all that mattered was that he wasn't mad.

Most of the times he looked at Jay, his face would be hardened and rigid because somehow he would just be so angry, but his features were soft and gossamer.

Like this, the mood around him wasn't tight and awkward, where Jay was normally wary to test or tread the waters. It was calm, it was sweet.

Yeah. Jay guessed that Jungwon was cute.

"Hey," Jay whispered. He carefully waved his hand but Jungwon stayed the same.

Thinking about it for a while, Jay finally shook Jungwon's shoulder. Then Jungwon did, he lifted his head from his hand and slowly opened his eyes, squinting to adjust to the light.

"You fell asleep on the couch, thought I'd wake you up," Jay murmured, "It's around 7:26 pm."

Jungwon's face scrunched. And instead of a thank you for waking him up, his response differed. "Did you smoke or something? You smell sickingly sweet."

Jay exhaled, almost feeling stupid for expecting something different. "Does that matter?"

"It makes you a druggie," Jungwon commented. "And you did not need to wake me up."
