(The Party And The After Party By The Weeknd)

Corpse's Pov

We got off of the plane, with absolutely no problem. Karl wore a hoodie, a hat, sunglasses, and a mask. You name it, I made him wear it so I didn't get questioned. I made sure to not talk while we were in that big setting, but now we are on the way to a small little town.

Cora is driving, following the GPS towards the hotel. Karl is asleep in the front seat, and I'm in the back, trying to sleep, but I can't wrap my head around the fact that I'm in Texas.

"Do you think this is a bad idea?" I asked Cora, and she hummed.

"No. I just..." She trailed off and I felt myself freeze up.

"She will be happy to see you, but you should've warned her." She mumbled the last part, but I still heard her.

"She's gonna be happy, trust me." She nodded her head at me, and I shrugged.

"Even if she's not, we can still make a fun trip out of this." I said, causing Cora to laugh.

"Don't say that. Everything will go okay."

I let out a breath and closed my eyes. I leaned my head back on the headrest, and turned my music up in my airpods.

"Say something." Karl said, putting both of his hands on my shoulders.

"I think I might puke." Cora and Karl laughed as they got into the car. I slipped in the backseat, looking around at my surroundings.

"Where exactly are we going?" Karl asked Cora who started to drive.

"We are going to meet Corpse's lover." Cora started to drive, and my face morphed in confusion.

"Her location is in the complete opposite way?" I spoke in a confused tone, and she just smiled.

"I knew something was going on with you." I mumbled, causing Karl to laugh.

"I have no clue, Corpse. None." She said with a smile.

"I still have no idea what's going on. I'm just here for fun!" Karl turned around in his seat and started talking to me but I was completely zoned out.

"I still can't believe you're clueless about this." Cora mumbled, looking over at Karl who just shrugged.

I've been ignoring Julie's texts all day. I feel like a horrible person, but I feel like it will make everything more special. My hands started to shake with nerves.

The street lights lit up the streets, you could see stars in the sky. You could rarely see them in San Diego. It's like a whole different world here. Everything honestly feels so real now that I'm actually here, and I'm beyond nervous.

"Maybe we can go back to the hotel." I said, and they both laughed.

"Everything will be okay." Cora reassured me and I felt everything freeze.

Am I finally putting two and two together?

Does Cora know who Julie is?

I'm beyond stupid.

"Cora." I said, narrowing my eyes at her, and her smile faded slightly.
