You stepped towards the edge, staring down at the long drop.
You should be scared...
But you weren't.
You should be devastated, and sad....
But you weren't.
What were you?

Your family, was broken, since your brothers died last year. Your moms were broken, and constantly fighting, your family hardly even realized you were there anymore...
You let out a heavy sigh as it weighed on your chest.
Family...yeah...
What was left of it, anyways.
One pair of your grandparents were gone, and the other wanted nothing to do with you, after their daughter married another woman.
It felt like an odd thing to disown your own flesh and blood over...
And school was rough for awhile. Kids hated you for no reason. Just liked the fact you had a punchable size, and a punchable face...
So finally, this all brought you here.
To the edge of a rooftop...
Staring below.
And ready to walk off.

Heck, even if you wanted to, you weren't sure it was possible at this point.
You took one small exhale...
And stepped off the roof.
