This had actually been a thing you'd been planning. You managed to convince Donnie to come meet your family, and you told them ahead of time that he was coming...

You just forgot to mention the mutant turtle part?

"Donnie!" You threw your arms up excitedly when you saw him at the door. "Yes, it is I, Donatello. I brought a peace offering...it's pizza." He said, shifting on his feet, fidgeting with his hoodie.

"Awesome! C'mon!" You giggled, grabbing his wrist and dragging him inside. Your sister noticed the green skin first and Donnie lowered his hood nervously, looking uncomfortable. However, you didn't notice as you dragged him to the living room. You plopped down with him beside you. "This is the guy who saved me!" You chirped.

"He's a turtle?!" "He's green?" "He's a superhero!" Your mom looked incredibly lost, your sister was confused, and dad was ecstatic. He loved heroes, comics, games, and other stuff, he really liked Lou Jitsu movies, and shonen action anime.

"...Oh I knew I forgot something!" You facepalmed. "...Allow me. Yes, I am a turtle mutant, I am a soft-shell terrapin mutant." "That explains the mechanized cover..." mom muttered, still confused. "Yes, I am green, turtles are green." "That vibrant though? Not all of them have such intense hues. Your skin is like a freaking water lotus' leaves!" Your sister announced. "It's pretty, yeah?" You giggled, not noticing Donnie's face get red. "...If you think a talking string bean is pretty, sure." Your sister joked. "Hey! Donnie is not a string bean! He's just tall!" You bickered back.

"As for the last question, not quite. I am teenage mutant ninja turtle, and have mystic powers, as well as incredible intelligence. After all, how else would I make all my tools, and accidentally alter my brother's mental capacity to be as smart as me, then be able to turn them back?" He said smugly, examining his nails proudly.

"And so humble." Mom grumbled. "Oh, oh, oh! Can I get anyone snacks?!" "I thought the turtle man with the Italian sculptor's name brought pizza, isn't that enough?" Your sister asked, quirking a brow.

"..." everyone, including Donnie, looked to your dad who argued 'No' directly after. He was a big guy, a jolly big guy, to be specific.

You beamed and whizzed to the kitchen, grabbing some home baked cookies and lemonade you made, some homemade mochi for your sister, with red bean filling, and some salted chips for your mom.

You toddled back in with the stuff, as Donnie continued to answer questions about himself.

"Where do you live?" Your sister grabbed a cookie and a mochi. "Concerning question, and I don't feel comfortable answering." Donnie answered. "Respectable answer, man." Your sister nodded, nibbling on the mochi. "Lemonade, Donnie?!" You bounced on your heels, watching him excitedly. He sighed, patting your head. "Thank you." "So, do you have a job?" "No, I'm a mutant, and most people don't let us above the surface, but the few occasional visits, we've had dance off's to gather money, and humans often drop money through grates." He said calmly.

"What about your family?" "Three very mentally challenged brother's, all with their flaws, and lovable charms, despite bothering me endlessly, and my father, who taught me all I know in my martial arts skills. He's a rat mutant, and used to be Lou Jitsu." He said calmly. They all stared.

"He's cool, right?!" I giggled. "...Yeah, actually." Your sister smiled. "Lou Jitsu's skills are incredibly impressive, but his playing with the starlet's in unappreciated. I doubt he's all that great." "Yeah, that bothered me a lot too, actually..." Donnie grimaced, looking away. "...So you agree he's a creep." Mom said. "I can't help his chaotic love life, but definitely not proud of him. He's not like that anymore, though." Donnie reassured. "...okay, good." She sighed.

"So, Was he good to you?" "In what sense? He never gave us affection minus the very occasional hug after a tense mission, and he's usually watching movies and eating junk food. Rather neglectful after we became teenagers, honestly, but he was doting when we were babies." Donnie said. "...Where's your dad, I just wanna talk." Mom said sweetly.

"...Donnie, run." You said quickly, motioning him to the door. "Mom, it's okay, calm down-" "CHILDREN ARE SUPPOSED TO BE CHERISHED WND WELL TAKEN CARE OF AND HUGGED AND LOVED AND-" you started rushing Donnie to a window as your mom lost her temper at the movie star she so loathed.

"Okay, thank you for coming, my hero! Good luck!" "Alright then. Ah bup bup bup-" he started to stop you but you gave him a hug before letting go. He blushingly stumbled onto the fire escape before flying home.

You were glad it went rather well before mom lost her mind over Lou not being a huggy parent, and somewhat neglectful.

You would never know how flustered you made Donnie, and how he staggered right to his room and hid his flushed face, embarrassed you hugged him.

He was never going to utter a word about it to you.

His bad boy reputation was on the line!

You smiled, curling under the covers for the night, glad it went well.
