*Tazuna said as he starts eating almost moaning at the food, after years of living under gato's foot to finally have fresh honest to Kami food was beyond words. Naruto chuckled and ate at a normal rate*
Naruto:thank you tazuna San, you too tsunami San for cooking this up, but it wasn't necessary
Tazuna:boy, you are the savior of this lands, the least we can do is give you a good meal before you go tomorrow
*Naruto took a sip of his orange peel tea and place the cup down showing the family a small smile*
Naruto:hm, while I'm touched that you all call me such a name, I'm no savior I was just a man with the means to help and that's what I did. But I thank you again for the meal
Tsunami: it's... it's no problem. Also Naruto before you leave, I would like to apologize to you
*Naruto looked at tsunami confused, she had a guilty look on her face*
Naruto:oh? Whatever for?
Tsunami:you know why, I was a horrible hostess, I was rude to you from day one. And for that I am sorry
*Tsunami said bowing her head at Naruto. Naruto hummed and scratched his cheek*
Naruto:I accept your apology to give you peace of mind, but you have nothing to apologize for. You're rudeness came from fear, not from true hatred, a samurai helps those in need no matter how they treat them. If we didn't it would go against Yuki, chuugi and Jin of the bushido code
Inari:what does those words mean?
*They all saw Naruto changing his once happy mood was gone, all the remained was a serious expression that comes from years of discipline*
Naruto:yuuki to have a heroic heart, a true warrior must have heric courage it is living life completely, fully and wonderfully. Chuugi to be loyal and for duty warriors are responsible for everything they have done and everything they have said, we must hold ourselves to the consequences of our actions and to be loyal for those in our care. Finally there's Jin in my opinion the second most important virtue of the samurai
*Naruto brought his smile back and rubbed Inari's hair as an older brother would do to his youngest*
Naruto:to have compassion, we train our bodies to be strong but we must always use that power for good, to help my fellow men at any opportunity
Tazuna:I may not know a lot of that code of yours, but I can't think of anybody that fits it more then you
*Naruto gave a small chuckle as he wave his hand dismissively*
Naruto:oh no, I can promise you I am but a simple samurai. A ronin really, the person you are describing can only the be emperor. As there hasn't been anyone who have defeated him in combat and taken that roll from him
Inari:so if you beat him you would become emperor?
*that question actually made Naruto laugh, the very notion of him being even close to the level of the emperor is nothing short of laughable*
Naruto:yes. That's pretty much how it goes, in iron country every 5 years there's a competition, a fight to the death where the winner shall be named the new emperor there will, will become our will. Thankfully no one has beating emperor Mifune yet
