*I said, choking up tears, as I grabbed her hand and we both disappeared from my room, thanks to her Body flicker technique*

Naruto:hm. This Kurenai sensei, is a good person, to say the least

Hinata:yes she is. I'll admit I didn't fully realize just how much she did for since, until you came along N. I....I suppose I just needed an outsiders perspective

*Hinata said shyly but with a bit of a bright smile. Naruto chuckles understanding how an outsider perspective could change an entire worldview miss Takeda did that for him*

Hinata:honestly, I've been telling her how much I appreciate her, much more since you came into my life, and the change in her attitude is quite noticable, she's a lot more affectionate with me, I think she was scared of showing much because of my banishment

Kenshin: ah the benefits of being a ronin.

*Kenshin finally spoke, putting his two ryo in. Naruto just smiled calmly taking a sip of his tea, knowing those benefits, but Hinata looked at him with curiosity*

Kenshin: when we were younger, a merchant, a sensei, and a ronin came to our class and explain the benefits of each. For the merchant it was to show, that there was no shame in quitting the samurai way of life, and show how you can still make a good life for yourself outside of that path

Naruto:I remember that a few of our classmates were very interested in that line of work. Remember Doi Kayo? He's got himself a little bakery now

*Naruto said with a kind smile, thinking of his classmates that didn't make it. Of course some of them didn't make it because Naruto had to kill them, but It was kill or be killed. Kenshin nodded with a smile, thinking along the same lines as him. Though he almost didn't make it to the samurai path, since he despised killing*

Kenshin: yes, I've been it is delightful

Naruto:it is delightful, that man sure knows how to make some of the most delicious treats I've ever tasted

Hinata:ummm guys?

*Hinata Interrupted, feeling a little left out of the conversation. Kenshin and Naruto looked at her with apologetic smiles on their faces*

Kenshin:oh right sorry. As I was saying, For me the sensei benefits spoke to me, to become powerful to protect my country. For Naruto on the other hand

Naruto:To have the chance to change someone's life outside the elemental nations and it's safe to say, I've changed the life of literal thousands, and that's no exaggeration

*Naruto said with a confident smile, Kenshin hummed, remembering Naruto's old letters of the Kiri civil war, hell he and everyone else in the friend group, plus the orphanage have read those letters. Hinata did think he was exaggerating just a tad*

Kenshin: given what you told me about your encounter with gato, I can see why this path was so appealing to you my friend. You always wanted to help people, even if it's not completely your dream

*Kenshin said, and Naruto shot him a look. Since Naruto did love the path he chose, but he can't deny that part of it, was to keep emiko's dream alive, a dream to help people*

Naruto:I've helped many people in my travels, yes. But my greatest achievement would have to be the Kiri civil war

Hinata: w.. wait that's right, fought in that war. Wait...you fought against Kakashi and Itachi..... Y...you were part of the terrorist group?
