The whole team was getting worried, since Courtney hadn't come home yet. In fact, Jen and Chloe were both suiting up to go find them, since they were the only other members of the JSA to already have costumes, plus their powers would make searching the town much faster.

However, before they could head out, they, along with Yolanda, Rick, Mari and Beth, along with the rest of Courtney's family, were shocked when the door opened and Courtney came in, being supported by none other than Cindy Burman.

"What the hell did you do to her, you maniac?" Yolanda demanded as she rushed forward, extending her claws from one hand as she prepared to finally gut Cindy.

"I didn't do anything to her. In fact, I saved her life." Cindy said.

"Yeah right." Yolanda said.

"No Yolanda, it's true." Courtney said as Yolanda realized just how close the girl was to collapsing and that quickly took over her mind as she retracted her claws and moved to take Courtney from Cindy.

"Chloe, can you get Courtney a chair or something?" Yolanda asked and in about a second, Chloe had retrieved a very cushy chair from the living room that Yolanda helped Courtney sit down in.

"Chloe, go get your dad. I think he should take a look at Courtney." Pat said and Chloe nodded as she sped out of the house.

"What happened?" Yolanda asked as she sat down on the arm of the chair Courtney was now sitting in and neither of them noticed the smiles on Courtney's parents' faces at that before turning serious again.

"Brainwave attacked me." Courtney said.

"Wait, Brainwave?" Pat asked.

"Yeah, the ISA is here in Blue Valley." Cindy said.

"How do you know that?" Yolanda asked her and Cindy glared at her.

"Because my father is Dragon King. And since we're being honest, I should probably tell you that I'm the one who outed you, not Henry." Cindy said.

"You little bitch." Yolanda said angrily.

"Yolanda, let her finish, then you can beat her to a pulp." Courtney said as she placed her hand on Yolanda's to help her calm down.

"Fine." Yolanda said, though she was still pissed.

"Anyways, I grew up knowing that my father was a member of the ISA and he turned me into one of his lab rats. I didn't ask for anything he did to me. Everything I've ever done has either been to try and make him proud of me or to keep him and his cronies off my back." Cindy said.

"Do you know the identities of the other ISA members?" Pat asked.

"Yeah, and I'll tell you on the condition that you keep Yolanda from attacking me." Cindy said.

"Yolanda, she saved my life. I know you hate her and for good reason. I'm not asking you to like her. I'm just asking you to put up with her, since right now, she's an advantage we can't afford to lose." Courtney said.

"I'll make a deal with you. Once the ISA is gone and I'm finally free from my dad's grasp, I'll leave Blue Valley, you'll never see me again." Cindy said.

"You swear?" Yolanda asked.

"I've got nothing keeping me here anyways. But now that the ISA knows that I betrayed them, they will come after me." Cindy said.

"Okay then." Yolanda said, still not happy, but she could accept that.

"Okay then." Cindy said.

"Why don't we take this down to the Citadel." Pat said.

"I'm not sure if I have the energy to leave this chair." Courtney said tiredly, since she was struggling to stay awake.

"What happened?" Barbara asked as Henry and Chloe sped into the house.

"I honestly don't know. I was trying to fight Brainwave but he had me pinned down with his powers and I couldn't call the staff back to me, but then somehow, I managed to fire off some kind of energy blast from my hands. I don't know how." Courtney said.

"Okay, I think that the ISA can fall on the backburner until we find out what is going on with Courtney. I'll take her down to the Citadel's lab so I can run tests on her." Henry said and the rest of the JSA nodded as Henry picked Courtney up bridal style and sped her downstairs.

"Chloe, would you mind?" Yolanda asked, since she did not want to let Courtney out of her sight until they were sure of Cindy's loyalties.

"No problem." Chloe said as she sped Yolanda down to the lab before returning and locking a pair of metacuffs on Cindy's wrist.

"What the?" Cindy asked.

"Those are power dampening cuffs, they should keep you from using your powers and they're just a precaution until we know we can trust you." Chloe said and Cindy nodded, since she understood them being skeptical.

"Okay then. Let's head downstairs." Pat said.
