Our 2nd to last day in Italy. I woke up spooning Larissa and saw my sleeping beauty. I kissed her shoulder and neck. "Wakey wakey my love." I whispered in her ear before biting her earlobe and continued kissing her neck and shoulder. Larissa woke up and smiled before turning and pulling me on top of her and I giggled as she tickled me. We had a tickle fight for a good 4 or 5 minutes. "Our 2nd to last day in Italy. I planned something. Wear something good to be on the water." I said. Larissa has planned good outings while we've been in Italy. So I wanted to show her the same effort. "Ooh I'm intrigued." She was about to kiss me when my phone rang. And we groaned. "I'll get in the shower and I'll be out soon." Larissa went for her shower and I answered the video call.

Well, she took me for A Gondola ride And we went to Cafe And I listened to her Reciting poetry She was captivating. Today I've planned to take Her out for a lunch On the water in a rowboat.

It was nice to hear from my best friend. I missed her a lot. I joined Larissa in the shower and hugged her from behind and kissed her back. "Who called?" Larissa asked. "Enid. I forgot to tell her we were in Italy." I laughed. "Oh?" Larissa turned around and held me close to her. "She told me to say hi for her. I think that she's one of our biggest supporters. She even gave us a ship name." I said. "What's a ship name?" Larissa asked confused. "A ship name is putting the couples names together. Like Enid calls us Lamante. Larissa and my last name Amante together. Kind of cool right?" I replied. "Its cute."
After our shower we got dressed.

I wanted to surprise Larissa so I kept her blindfolded until the uber got us to the destination. I helped her out of the car.
"Are you ready my love?" I asked. "I'm excited." Larissa took off the blindfold.

She gasped. "I want to take you on a rowboat date before we go back to Jericho and Nevermore tomorrow." Larissa kissed me. "You like it?" I asked. "Yes yes yes oh my god darling I love it!" Larissa was so happy. I'm glad I could give that to her. I helped her onto the boat and got on myself and started rowing. "What made you think of this?" Larissa asked. "I'm a romantic person. I picked it up from a romance movie." I laughed. Larissa joined in the laughter. "Well its very beautiful and romantic darling." I smiled at my queen as I kept rowing. When I stopped we were in the middle of the lake and the beautiful sun shining but not too hot. I opened the picnic basket that was in the middle and pulled out champagne and popped it. "Oh yes darling." Larissa said enthusiastically. I poured two of us a glass and got out the chocolate and strawberries. "Oh my favourite...darling you're an angel." Larissa sighed happily. "To our beautiful trip and to many more in the future." I said. Clink! "I can't wait to dig into these strawberries." I picked up one and dipped it into the chocolate before Larissa could. "Allow me my goddess." I said to her. I fed her the strawberries covered in delicious chocolate. She moaned at the taste. "Its so good. I could eat this all day." She said. "Me too to be honest." Larissa and I talked about poetry and music. I loved when I heard her talk about poetry. She seemed really passionate about it. Not to mention, her angelic voice made me fall in love with poetry. Listening to each word was exactly like music. Just as we got to the docks, I had one more surprise. "One more thing." I grabbed the guitar that someone was holding for me and started playing it.

I finished my little song and Larissa was in tears. I gave the guitar back and Larissa kissed me with tears. "Oh darling no one has ever written a song for me before." She sniffled. "I hope you liked it." I said. "Oh I loved it. Absolutely loved it." Larissa said. We held hands as we slowly walked back to our hotel.
The next morning we woke up and packed our stuff. I was sad it was ending, but I didn't care where I was, as long as I was with Larissa. My love, my life.
We dressed comfortably and made our way to the airport. We sat waiting for our number to be called. I laid my head on Larissa's shoulder and she kissed my head. "Arrivederci Italy." I whispered.
On the plane my head was still on Larissa's shoulder but we put an airpod in each and watched our show. Rizzoli and Isles.
When we got back to Nevermore. We were so jet lagged that the first thing we thought of was sleep. We slept in Larissa's bed. Once again. I remember thinking, 'I want to marry her one day' and I fell asleep.
