Time skip 2 months.
I am now 4 months pregnant and starting to show a little bit. Melody is now our happy little girl and today...is Larissa's birthday. So while she slept I went downstairs and cooked breakfast. I made waffles, pancakes, bacon, and a cup of hot chocolate. Her favourite. I walked into the bedroom with a tray of the food and the hot chocolate and with Melody beside me and we start to sing,
"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you," Melody and I sing together.
"Happy birthday dear darling, happy birthday to you."
"Happy birthday dear mommy, happy birthday to you." Melody holds out a cupcake with a candle.
"Make a wish Mommy!" She said. Larissa closed her eyes and blew out the candle.
"Thank you so much darling, and you, my little princess." Larissa said happily as we all cuddled on the bed as a family.

Lunchtime we went to the park and had a lovely picnic.
"How's our baby doing darling?" Larissa asked.
"They're doing fine. I actually have a gift for you." I say nervously. Larissa saw my nervousness.
"I found out some news yesterday at my scan." I said.
"Are you okay? Is the baby okay?" Larissa asked worried.
"Yes, yes nothing is wrong it's just...I hope you'll be happy about this...and this is one of your birthday presents." I handed her an envelope. And Larissa opened it slowly. When she pulled out the ultrasound she gasped.
"Boy?" Larissa said surprised.
"Yes darling...we're having a boy." I smiled and touched my belly.
"Oh my gosh this is the best news darling!" Larissa kissed me passionately.
"A boy." I said as I watched her smile.
"Look at our daughter running around the playground, she looks so happy." Larissa said with a smile. But then she started to tear up.
"Darling, are you alright?" I asked Larissa as I pulled her closer to me.
"I....I never ever thought that I would fall in love with someone this much. You're my soulmate. I love you and now we have our daughter and a son on the way. It's more than I could have ever dreamed of." Larissa said with tears and a smile. I kissed her.
"I love you. We are a family now. And I'm so happy that it's with you." I said. Melody ran over.
"Why are you crying mommy?" She asked Larissa.
"Mummy just told me that you're having a little brother." Larissa replied. Melody's face lit up.
"A BABY BROTHER?!" Melody screamed happily.
"Yes darling a baby brother. He's right here in my stomach." Melody put her head to my stomach.
"Hi baby brother." She said. Larissa and I looked at each other enjoying the moment. I swear every time I looked into her eyes it was like I was falling in love with her all over again.

When we got home Melody was zonked. We took her upstairs and tucked her into bed.
"Goodnight sweetheart." I kissed her head and returned to you in the bedroom.
"Did you enjoy today love?"
"Yes I did. I've always spent my birthdays alone..." I teared up at the thought.
"Never again my love. Every birthday from now on...you'll have me and our babies." Larissa kissed my forehead before pulling me close. It broke my heart hearing that no one, had ever treated her like I have. She is everything to me. My sun, my earth, my air.
"My love?"
"Yes darling?" Larissa replied.
"I want to bring our wedding forward. I don't care if I have to find a wedding dress to fit me...I can't wait to marry you...I need to marry you...you're my soulmate and the love of my life...And I can't wait to call you my wife." As I speak these words, I see tears in Larissa's eyes.
"How about next month?" Larissa replied with a big smile.
"Perfect. And...I don't want this huge wedding...I just want you...your parents...our friends... and Melody."

Hey babies sorry I've been absent. I've had a really hard year. Mentally, emotionally and academically. It was my first year of uni. I hope next year will be better. I missed you guys! And happy Christmas season!
