*Sabre's POV*
I'm here with Rainbow Steve defending some Violet Steves from the darkness. There is way too much of it and we're getting overwhelmed. I quickly try to think of an idea while fighting them off when, finally, I get one.
"Rainbow! Can you buy me a minute?"
Rainbow turns to give me a confused look that turns into worry as I take out the command block.
"Sabre, are you sure?! We don't have much redstone left, and you know what will happen if it takes too much energy!"
I look down at the block and the measly amount of redstone I still have. We recently found out that I can substitute redstone energy into the command block rather than my own but for the command I'm thinking of, it might not be enough...
I look up again, seeing Rainbow struggle against the several darkness and see a group of Violet Steves get cut off and surrounded by the darkness. I can't let this happen.
"I'm sorry, but we have no choice!"
I quickly type in the command I want and double check it's correct.
/kill entity:darkness
Hopefully, this will destroy all the darkness in the area. I hold the redstone next to the command block and press the enter button.
A huge flash surrounds the area as the redstone dissipates from my hand and I start to feel drained. After the light fade, I look around and see that all the darkness is now gone.
"Sabre! You did it!"
I turn and look at Rainbow who now has a bright smile on his face. I give him a weak smile back before my lack of energy catches up with me. I fall to the ground and my eyes close as I hear Rainbow call out to me.
"SABRE-"
================
Relax, he's fine. Just very tired.
CommandBlockAU, again.
However this is set a little further in time where Sabre has learned some useful information about the command block. If Sabre holds some natural redstone next to the command block, it will take that as an energy source rather than Sabre. This is due to the energy natural redstone creates.
Unfortunately, this also means that the redstone orange steves create can't be used as it doesn't have that same energy - so orange steve item duplication glitch :(
Fun fact: In this AU, that energy is also why redstone effects TFC. TFC also despises the command block and wishes to destroy it due to that energy. (Even though that energy prevents him from destroying it)
Anyways that's about all from me today!
Lyra, signing out.
