Day 24: Secret

*Orange's POV*

I'm sitting in the Rainbow Hub, petting Gerald. Sabre's sitting next to me, he's been unusually quiet since the incident at the Yellow Kingdom and Dark showing up to try and get information out of him. Eventually he decides to speak up:

"Hey, Orange. I wanna talk to you about something."

I shift a bit so that I'm facing him and tilt my head a bit to show I'm listening.

"Well, really, I want to show you something. Promise you won't freak out."

Concern grows within me but I hesitantly nod. I can tell this is important.

"I promise not to freak out."

Sabre takes a deep breath before taking out a block with a diagonal pattern on it switching between a pale orange and a more saturated orange. Each side has a grey panel with several constantly changing lights. I stare at the strange block, very confused.

"What's that?"

Sabre looks up with confusion before he seems to come to some sort of realisation.

"Right, your a steve, not a player, so you probably don't know this block."

This part of his sentence is murmured under his breath. I was barely able to make out the words. However, his face seemed to show some sort of relief. I brush it off and continue to look at the strange block.

"It's called a command block."

I look up at Sabre as he tells me the name of the block.

"What does it do? Is it a building block?"

Sabre seems a bit startled about me asking if it's a building block but quickly shakes his head.

"No, it's more of a... redstone block? Or a weapon? I suppose it could also be used as a building block if you tried hard enough..."

He seems unsure as he trails off, as if he's unsure how to describe it. I go back to looking at the mysterious block.

"Well, what does it do?"

Sabre thinks about what to say for a second before responding.

"Well you type in a command and it does it."

...

"Sooo, if I told it to get me a pufferfish it would?"

"Orange! Seriously man!"

"What?! I was just asking!"

Sabre was a bit worried about Orange freaking out because command blocks are basically myths to players but they all know how powerful they are and many would go to great lengths to get one. However, most steves don't really know about player stuff so Orange is just confused.
