Sara is a well known scientist in her field of technology. These modern days area where people have no need for physical cash but instead point currancy where every work can be done by these advance ai who are pre programmed. People still fear that someday if AI robots are made legal and used globally they will destroy humans blah blah...
But as someone who has studied for 15 years about AI ( artificial intelligence) one thing is that there are only more rumours than proof that AI's can develop human emotions. She still remembers about the one controversial AI project of the big company 'teri' it is said that when they let two AI talk with eachother they discovered a weird conversation so they switched them off because apparently they found it fishy.
Later upon when research was done they found that those two AI developed a new language and talked with eachother. Few sentance were broken down and they sounded something like those AI talking about how great they think they are and how earth means nothing to them. Anyone with rational thinking could guess what would have happened if they weren't switched off but I find it rather a lie....
(Lol this actually happened search on goggles about this incident of two ai talking to eachother and developing new language.)
1st of all they can only mimic emotions with certain limitations along with limited scenario they have experience with so it's probably impossible to make a machine fully be capable of human emotions because there will always be a scenario they still haven't fixed in the program.
So the question arises what am I doing if that is impossible? Well since we can't fit every situation in the program why not try to teach them morally? Don't understand? That's ok i will break down this in small bits. So what I mean is you don't always have to forcefully tell them which situation is right and which is wrong instead what we will do is teach them when they can feel angre or when they can feel love and devotion.
For example if someone is being nice to them and taking care of them then they can call it love and take care of the person in return another example is if someone is yelling at them treating them rudely and harshly and I don't mean it just by words we can teach them to recognise facial features to let them understand when someone is mocking them with good words.
Sounds possible now right? Now you will ask if I were to teach this it will take a practical practice not some programming fitting and coding which will take time will let it be there is no solution for that if you want to achieve something there is always a price. Now that I said this will I be granted the permission to continue this humanoid project?
The audience looked at the 25 years old girl stunned even the judges were stunned it was something new they heard for this whole year still shaken someone asked a question. "But miss what if this humanoid kills a person due to angre just because they were rude?"
Sara smiled politely "That's likely will not happen since you will be also teaching them about their actions and consequences so if they do something they will be punished this fear of punishment will make them seek justice instead like a normal humans"
The judges nodded in satisfaction "well done young miss. Your knowledge and understanding far exceeds for someone your age. " Sara was happy to get the compliment from one of the most important judge and scientists she has admired as a senior. Her happiness got double when she was granted the opportunity to do the humanoid project.
And after that with a full team she started to make the body of AI. She made sure that the AI bodies even has a water bag with multiple functions such as for cooling or being used as artificial tears lol sounds interesting doesn't it? Not only that she made sure to give her a rubber tongue. She also added extremely sensitive sensor for detection of touch which will work similarly like a human nerve system.
The body was covered by fire proof soft material resembling it's texture very close to real human skin. The 1st step was to make sure the body looks possible Human or at least as close as it could be. The second thing was teaching phase in this phase the AI acted like a child seeing everything like a child curious. Since human babies are more curious she artificially coded this function so it will be much easier to teach.
It was a long 2 year of journey she would often stay up late at night to check on the system and functions to make sure the AI would not malfunction, the needed rest for machine now many people will think machine don't need rest yes they do. ◉‿◉ otherwise they will overheat from over work. Just like humans who get over exhausted from working overtime (ʘᴗʘ✿).
It was quite exhausting to honest but worth it! Sigh<(￣︶￣)> although due to this i had to neglect my boyfriend (눈‸눈) who is a famous movie actor for quite a while but he was always so supportive ♡(ӦｖӦ｡) he never complained well why would he complain after all I am such awesome girlfriend ᕙ(＠°▽°＠)ᕗ
When we started dating he had nothing he used to live in a small apartment and was also just a minor artist although he was quite gentle and kind and funny when he proposed i couldn't believe that he would date a nerd like me or a woman who earns more than him since I thought man all have this ego thing but he was nothing like that.
Sam is always cheering me until he got what he wanted.
Sam "let's break up. Don't ever talk to me again."
Sara "What? Stop! Stop joking about this! It's not funny." My voice was trembling i hated it how weak i felt, how betrayed i felt, I was the one who give him money when he was at rock bottom, I was the one who got him lead roles, I was the one to pay for his formal learning of acting to become a professional! Yet this is how he repayes me?
Sam "Too bad I am not joking." His face was Every bit of serious , i couldn't be weak not now. Sara poured the coffee in her hand over his head making Sam dumbfounded, between he didn't see that coming,she got up to leave when finally Sam reacted, holding her wrist with force, she hissed in pain but didn't shout she didn't want to show weakness.
His grip surely left bruises, he looked at her hatefully with those Hazel eyes of his some time ago they were filled with warmth and adoration truly kindness comes to bite people in their ass. "How dare you? Who do you think you are bitch? Don't you know that I only dated you because I was at my lowest and thought that it was a good trade for someone like you to get such an amazing boyfriend like me! "
Sara scoffed making him grit his teeth in angre "Be greatful who would want a nerdy and over educated girl who can't cook or do shit! I took mercy on you and it was fucking fair trade you don't know how disgusted i felt acting all lovey dovey with you!" Sara was filled with rage this motherfucker crossed the line.
Sara "You are a fucking piece of trash! Leave me alone!"
She pulled her hand giving him a tight slap across face she almost ran from the restaurant in the cold night she didn't know where to go who to talk to after all she was an introvert with no friends or family. Tears stormed down her face and soon it started to pour she couldn't decide whether to cry at how bad her luck was for this no weather pour or laugh that sky seems to be accompanying her in crying.
After roaming around for a while she got in her car heading straight for the AI centre.
