It seems their last day spent together opens the floodgates. Soon, Riki is texting Sunghoon funny videos and gifs nonstop. To Jake showing them all a meme Riki sent him, Sunghoon figures out he's not the only one receiving this treatment. The other boy seems keen on forging a closer relationship with each of them, With Heeseung, Jake, Jiung, Jay, Keeho, And Theo pratically adopting another child now, everyone seems fond of his company, and they won't leave him hanging.
They each text him back just as often. Wanting him to know they're serious about the offer of friendship, if Riki isn't convinced that they already consider him a friend.
Sunghoon hopes he'll grow more and more comfortable with the idea. And it seems to be working if it serves as any indication of the way he seeks the friend group out in person more often while distancing a little more from the crew he used to be stuck to 24/7.

They all exchange proud glances one day when Riki's out shopping with them and receives a phone call. It's evident who is on the other line even before they hear him say, "Look, I already made other plans today. I can't just drop everything and be free on a moment's notice because you said so."
The raised voice through the speaker is muffled, and Riki sits there absorbing the anger like he's used to it.
"You told me you were busy before. You can't just suddenly decide I'm worth your time and expect me to go along with whatever you want."
The voice gets even louder.
Riki endures it for longer than any of them want him to. But he stands his ground.
"We'll talk about it later." And he hangs up when the volume of the shouting voice only increases. Then he turns to the others. "Anyway. Let's go buy some stuff."

Time skip, Next day in a private area at School:

"Oh look, it's the loser squad your boy toy keeps ditching us for." There's an obnoxious leering smirk on Kyong's face as he and his friends make their way over.
Jongseob stands like he wants to walk away and avoid the confrontation, but Heeseung stops him with a hand on his arm. They were sitting here first. Why should they have to flee because some douchebags decided to start shit? Better to ignore them.
The Shameless Five don't take the hint, however, surrounding Sunghoon and his friends (minus Riki, who Sunghoon hasn't seen yet today).
Finally, Keeho engages. "What do you want?"
