Riki stood, frozen in his shoes as he squeezes the chapstick so hard he was afraid it may smash together under his force.
The two of them were kissing. It just caught him so off guard and made him feel sick to the stomach. He needed to get out of there. He felt like he was gonna throw up all the food he just had.
Embarrassed and ashamed Riki takes off the jacket and throws it on one of the benches in the locker room. He knew it, —- something was happening between those two, and it hurt.
Riki was about to leave until he notices that they realized he was there. Quickly making his way out when Sunghoon barely calls out his name, wondering how much he'd seen of his flustered expression.
He threw the door open, holding back the swelling tears in his eyes when he heard the door crash against the wall. He coughed out a silent wail, pressing his knuckles against his eyes and tried to smile to avoid any tears from staining his cheeks.
Riki ran out of there he ran until his legs couldn't anymore,
He pushed past the crowds of people, bumping and shoving people
hard as he marched through the hustle and bustle. He wasn't sure why he didn't just leave the second he saw them kissing. It was like his feet were glued to the floor. But the second Sunghoon said his name he had to run. He couldn't —- and he wouldn't have stayed and talked to Sunghoon.
It all hurt, it hurt so bad
Riki quickly texted Shota knowing that he was the only one he was willing to see right now.
Even though he was the only one he was willing to see, he truly didn't want to be around anyone anymore - he just really wanted to go home.
Riki wanted to get out of that whole place as soon as possible, he was standing infront of the entrance to the school stadium and waiting for Shota to show up
"Riki? What happ-" Shota started worrying and asking
"Here, keep this," he mutters and tosses the chapstick at Shota who take the tube out of fear, slipping it into his pocket.
"I don't want it anymore. I'm going home, stay here and enjoy the game. Goodnight" Riki mumbles out and turns around
"Riki-san!? Wait-" it was to late tho cause Riki had ran off
He continued to run until he couldn't anymore and he was half way across campus. He was infront of his school and if he looked behind he could see their rival school.
He couldn't move anymore, —— he felt so numb.
Riki felt another stone tumble down his stomach so hard and so fast that it almost made him throw up. He felt dizzy and sick to his stomach, knees feeling weak
Riki didn't completely understand why he felt like this.
Scratch that, he partly knew. He just DIDNT want to believe it. He would never want to believe it
He felt pathetic if he were to believe it, because how pitiful would it be for someone's heart to be broken over a love that never even existed.
That just calls for an 8 word short story, and he couldn't have that. Not again, and not ever.
Riki finally walked inside the dorms building and went to his own dorm. He was about to get undressed and change into his pajamas and just never leave his room ever again, but that wouldn't be fair to him.
