Chapter 6 : Minerva & Goodfellow

After our altercation...i drove him to his friend frank...
It's a big house with a giant gate with a big letter F in the middle.. I don't know how but the gate just opened on its own..
So a step on the pedal to enter this like a mansion place...and then we are greeted by a calm british accent man....who introduces himself as nigel....
I'm so nervous about goodfellow i shout at him..." get this man some help!!!"
But calmly he replied..." right away madam"......

And then i follow them.
To my surprise i saw an operating room..
And some people dress like doctors who will perform an operation.

Nigel nicely asked me to sit down and ask me if I wanted something to drink..
At first i refused because I was worried about goodfellow. But then i accept it..
After i took a sip..i apologized to nigel because I'm so tense..and then suddenly i fell asleep....

When i woke up...i saw a girl doing something beside me.. she noticed that I was awake so she asked me..

Girl : im sorry to wake you up madam...

Minerva : im not that old to be called madam....minerva will do...

Girl : im sorry.....mi..minerva..

Minerva : much more like it...
What time is it?

Girl : it's 7:00 in the morning

Minerva : woh....where is this place?

Girl : it's mr. Frank's place ..

Minerva : ohw...where is goodfellow? How was he!? How's the operation go?

Girl : sir frank will tell you the details...
But right now minerva here's your clothes..if you want to take a shower
I prepared some fresh towels for you..

Minerva: im naked? Who took my clothes off?

Girl : me...we throw away your shirt because it was soaked with blood..

Minerva : ah okay...

Girl : here's some fresh pair of clothes..
And mr. Franks waiting for you outside..

After the shower i walked out and looked for frank..

Frank is sitting eating breakfast....

Frank : ah.... ms. Minerva diaz......
Or should i say.. detective..?

Minerva : minerva is fine....

Frank : hmm..come..sit down let's have breakfast...ah..please give minerva her coffee..

Minerva : where's that goodfellow guy?

Frank : oh about that ....maybe you should drop your investigation about Rodriguez...and close it up..

Minerva : and why is that? And you never answered my question...?

Frank : oh..my apologies....he is gone hunting the man who shot at you...
And he might have an idea who it is..

Minerva : then who is it?

Frank : i said....he might know....

Minerva : okay frank thank you for your hospitality...but I can't just drop my case... i owned it to the family and I'm not that kind of person who stopped for what i started... I always finish my work...if you know what i mean...

Frank : i believe you ms. Detective...the only thing that i can advise you is...
Expect the fu**ing unexpected....

Minerva : yeah franky... it's part of my job...

Frank: franky? Very neat.....okay your car is checked and there is no problem you can go anytime you want ms. Detective...

Minerva: thank you franky.....i hope i can see you again...
