Grian Oneshots!!

HEADCANONS [Not a Oneshot]

Feel free to skip this chapter because 90% of the time i will write the headcanon used in a oneshot above the oneshot. But if you want to read everything, I won't stop you.

HEADCANONS

So because i am boring and adore pesky birb, most of these will be about grian

Everything will be sorted by the person who the headcanon is about

Not everything will be hermitcraft, there will also be some life series and empires smp mixed in (maybe some dsmp too?)

Me when i realize 75% of this is me summarizing a story in bullet point form

Grian:

Also known as Xelqua

Nicknames: Gri, G-man, G, Griba, Gria, Gigi, Xel

Pronouns: all but prefers (he/they/she)

Gender: genderfluid

Sexuality: pansexual

Species: parrot hybrid

He has colorful parrot wings (red, yellow, blue) and birb feet, as well as some tufts of feathers on the sides of his head, also in the same colors as his wings. He has tail feathers in the same colors as well.

If he is relaxed and comfortable enough, he may chirp or coo or make any birb sound. This is usually when his wings are being preened/pet, or when snuggling with someone like Mumbo or Pearl

He has fluffy dirty blonde hair (you will probably see me write a songfic to Strawberry Blonde by Mitski in the future)

He wears a skintight, sleeveless, collared, black shirt underneath his famous red sweater

Unless you've got rats, white bunnies, or blue clothes, you will not be able to scare Grian

Grian had PTSD, depression, social anxiety, and moderate anorexia

This causes frequent panic attacks and grian to start s3lf h4rm1ng. His self hatred even went as far as to cause him to try and su1c1d3 on more than one occasion

Grian wears his wedding ring on a chain as a necklace under his red sweater (explanation about halfway through the story section below)

His favorite people to cuddle with are mumbo, impulse, and tango

LIFE SERIES: grian was the only one to remember third life because he was the winner, and is absolutely traumatized from it. Hence the reason he did not want to be paired with scar in double life. Even looking in his general direction felt so wrong to grian and freaked him out. He gets frequent flashbacks from third life, and was barely able to even say scar's name until the beginning of hermitcraft s9. He chose bigb because bigb knew things that a lot of other people didnt (evo related) he had vented to bigb on more than one occasion and knew he could trust bigb with his reasoning for cheating on scar. This doesn't mean that grian isn't guilty about cheating on scar, or that he is in the right for what he did, but it's his reason.

He and pearl adopted each other as siblings

His wings turned matte purple when he turned into a watcher, but they returned to the vibrant colors they were before after he was outside of the watcher realm for two weeks. They will return to this color if grian uses excessive amounts of power, turns into his watcher form, or at his will.
