Another one for a side duo of antagonists.

'Man, your place is the real life!' Petra exclaimed, coming out of the shower filled with steam. He draped a towel over his shoulder and went for the wardrobe, quickly taking whatever he thought fits, a purple robe with yellow highlights. At last, he made himself comfortable in a chair.

Duncan watched him dotting the floor with water and rethinking why in the 4 world's did he invite the shapeshifter.

'If you're done getting suited in my chambers-'

'I am,' he confirmed, plucking some fruits from a bowl he found at arms reach. 'What's with the call, Dun?'

Ignoring the name, the white haired man dove straight to the topic. Sooner he gets this done, sooner he can leave. 'I am travelling for a couple of days to the forest dimension.'

'Why for?'

'Personal research.'

'Cool, have fun.' the other replied, not bothering to listen intently. He didn't need to. Petra seemed more focused on the fruit for now.

'Not cool.' Duncan's voice ascended in volume. 'We still have the navigator units, remember. I'm posted here, in the samurai dimension' How can he not? The jewels on their chests that kept track of their position across the dimensions. If he leaves, Zyran will be... notified, to put it in a way.

Picking up on his line of thoughts, Petra finally looked more attentive. 'And they will not let you leave your position so close to the plan, so you want to exchange navigators with me?'

'You don't have a post, right?'

'Nope,' he answered, 'Free as a bird.'

Duncan eyed his unexpected acceptance of the request. 'Look, I'm serious and will not ask you ag-'

'Hey, Dun, chill,' He interrupted, fully relaxed. It was easy to see, since his human disguised skin melted into the purple scales, tail coming out of the glamour, pupils going in a gradient from brown to vibrant yellow. 'Look, we're buddies-'

'Allies.' He corrected.

'Whatever you wanna call it.' With that, he simply reached under the borrowed clothes and pulled out his crimson tinted gem (courtesy of the Wildfire Lord), throwing it to him. The empire's consul grabbed it, and mirrored with his own, one that's an almost black shade of blue, colour of the cyclone lord.

After the exchange, Petra asked, 'So when you leaving?'

He answered, 'Right now.'

'All the better.'
