'Here, it was yours.'

Erica turned to the younger, watching him take off the cobalt blue jacket and hand it over to her. She remembers it, from around 2 years ago. She'd taken it with her on her first expedition through the dimension and dropped it at some point. In the Parallel dimension, where she'd first met Eric.

It was a little worn, a long line was cut through the first fabric layer and the end of the right sleeve was missing a small chip, but it was the same jacket.

'I took it after you left. Didn't get the chance to give it back yet.' Eric said sheepishly. It was actually surprising her how the short, goofy 14 year old she'd first met had turned in to a tall, goofy 16 year old man. He was really putting on the challenge with the height, not that Erica was that tall anyway, no matter how much older she was.

'Keep it.'

'Huh.'

She smiled at his confusion. 'The jacket had seen a lot with me, and it's about time it sees more with you. Consider it a second legacy.'

Eric chuckled, 'Not an accident this time?'

'Nah.'
