Intermittent explosive disorder (IED) is a mental disorder conveying a case of constant angry behaviour. AKA. The mental disorder I picked for Mark.
Kinda lazy, so here's the main idea.
After a couple of days travelling with Eric and Duncan, Mark is fed with the latter. They got a history of betrayal between them and Duncan isn't really an ally but they've had to walk on the same path so as not to get lost. Finally when they have regrouped with the others, and Duncan says something that triggers the trust issues Mark is not willing to admit, he snaps.
Mark pins Duncan against a tree and starts yelling at him to finally tell them what the villain were up to and admit he was the one that got the group separated in the first place. In the process, while the others are trying to calm him down, he send a really bad bunch that almost gives Leo (unfortunate enough to stand so close) a black eye.
Finally, when Ed does manage to get him to let go of Duncan so someone else can handle it, they all just kind of disperse, try to set camp and blow off some steam. Mark stays right where he was, alone. He takes one look at some charm he'd purchased just for no particular reason at a market at the beginning of their travel.
He turns it around sees that it was made by the people of Guan Yu, the once he'd once considered like his only family long before until Duncan framed him and ruined everything.
With the last bit of energy he had, he throws it away.
