No worries just a retired, worried uncle.

Deagol watches as Erica leaves rushing first thing in the morning for the third time this week, second week in a row. it definitely did not take him long to figure out what his niece is up to, or more likely what she'd gotten into.

He had suspicions that hers might develop early, seeing both her father's and mother's sides had the Arma in their blood, but something didn't really sit right. Her powers weren't emerging naturally, they were being pulled out.

He had a talk with Edward last night, who was an old friend of his. Despite the fact both are around in Houston, that each knows where the other lives, they have not visited, mostly because he didn't want Erica to catch any of their words while talking (not these words). She'd been a bit of an eaves-dropper since she was young.

That is exactly what he'd explained to Ed. He didn't want Erica to make the connection between him and the Arma Aurea now, not yet. He was going to come to terms with that when she grows up, when she could understand better but she bet him to that.

For now, Deagol just wanted to keep his niece safe.
