Third Person POV

Liam paced in Cecilia's hospital room taking in all the new information. They couldn't tell him exactly what was wrong with her because she was still in surgery, but they knew it wasn't good. His ankle was hurting him but he didn't notice

His heart hurt too much.

He was going to go back to tell Fae and Ross what was happening but he just couldn't. He really didn't know what to tell them, because he didn't know anything himself. Plus you can't just tell your kids that you think their mom isn't going to live. That would hurt all of them too much.

"Liam" someone croaked making Liam whip his head over seeing Cecilia start to wake up

"Cecilia" Liam gasped going over and sitting in the chair next to the bed

"My chest hurt" she said hurt

"I know darling I know" he said grabbing her unbroken hand and rubbing it soothingly

"And my head" she groaned

"You have a concussion and some fractured ribs and a mild case of whiplash, sweetie" he explained

"And a broken wrist?" she asked feeling a heavy weight on her other hand

"Yes and a broken wrist" Liam nodded

"What about everyone else?" she asked turning her head carefully

"Tyler is just fine, Fae has a broken wrist as well and some stiches, I have a sprained ankle, and Ross has a concussion as well and a fractured tibia" Liam explained

"What about mom?" Cecilia asked confused not hearing anything about her mother

"Well um"

"Is she dead?" Cecilia asked horrified tears gathering up in her eyes

"No sweetie, it's ok breathe" Liam rubbed her arm

"Where is she?" Cecilia asked breathing heavily

"She's in surgery still" he answered vaguely

"How long has she been in there?" she asked nervously

"Ok, I'm going to be completely honest with you because you are old enough to understand all of this. So don't freak out ok?"

"Ok" Cecilia nodded

"Your mom is not doing very well. She's been in surgery longer than she needs to be and apparently the car hit really close to your mom. So I don't know anything other than that, you know as much as I know, but I need you to know that this might turn out badly" he said getting emotional himself

"I um I- do the others know?" she asked her voice cracking a bit

"No not yet, and I don't want them to know until the answer is final"

"Ok, that's understandable" Cecilia nodded. They stood in silence for a while until a nurse came in smiling seeing that Cecilia was awake. She asked Cecilia some questions and checked the monitors and everything them turned to Liam.

"You have visitors" she smiled politely

"Oh ok" he said confused

"They are in the waiting room" she smiled before leaving the room

"I'll be right back darling" he said to Cecilia kissing her forehead before leaving the room and walking down the now familiar hallway to the waiting room.

"Liam" someone gasped as he walked in the door before he was tackled into a hug by Harry and Niall.

"We saw the news, we were waiting for you at a bar and you never showed up and now you're hurt, where is everyone?" Harry rushed questions out quickly
