The Girl From the Car

"Josh?" Cecilia asked answering her phone

"Hey Ce" Josh said quietly

"Are you ok babe? It's like 3 in the morning" Cecilia asked worried

"Yeah I just um just" he stuttered

"What's wrong J?" Cecilia asked getting even more worried, sitting up in her bed

"Can I come over?" he asked shyly

"Is it your dad?" Cecilia said now understanding

"Yeah" Josh said wiping his eyes trying to make it seem like he wasn't crying

"I'll meet you half way" she said getting up and putting clothes on

"No it's dark out and I don't want you to get hurt" Josh said and she could hear him quietly packing some stuff up

"You're not that far away, I'll meet you ok?" she said opening up her window

"Cecilia please don't go out please I'll make it to you" he said getting worried about you

"What if I get my dad and I meet you at the park and we can drive around or just head back home ok? I just want to make sure you are safe too" she said walking into the hallway

"Are you sure?" Josh asked not sure of the idea

"Of course, stay on the phone I'm just gonna walk my dad up" she said setting her phone down and walking into Liam's room, who was awake and sitting in bed reading a book

"Cecilia? What are you doing awake?" he asked taking off his reading glasses and setting them aside

"I actually have a favor to ask you but we kind of have to hurry" she said hoping he would agree

"Ok, is it an emergency?" he asked getting out of bed and throwing some clothes on

"Kind of" she said

"Ok, car?" he asked and then she nodded "Ok let's get going"

"Will the kids be ok?" she asked following him down the stairs

"Yeah they're all asleep, it is 3 in the morning" he said giving her a look as he grabbed his keys

"Yeah sorry, we just need to head to the park and I'll explain on the way" she said walking to the car

"Ok let's get it going" he said getting in the car and backing out of the drive way

"Mom is coming home in the morning right?" Cecilia asked once they were on their way

"Yeah that's why I wasn't sleeping, I'm a little nervous"

"Why?" she asked curiously

"She still doesn't remember and we have to continue you on with our life's and I can't take care of her because I'm juggling too much. I didn't worry about it when she was in the hospital because she had all those nurses and doctors but she'll be alone here" he shrugged "But that's just me worrying, I know she'll be ok"

"I understand that" she nodded

"Where am I going?" Liam asked as soon as he got to the park

"Just park here and I'll go get him" Cecilia said and Liam nodded parking the car and letting her out

"Hurry back, it's dark out" Liam said as she got out. She agreed and closed the door running around the park to look for Josh

"Cecilia" Josh said jogging over to her
