The Girl From the Car

Third Person POV

It was the Wednesday after Cecilia's birthday and today was the day that Liam and Cecilia were going to see Sophie's parents. Cecilia and Liam were both pretty nervous to say the less. Apparently they haven't moved out of the house that Sophie grew up in, and they still were in New Haven, Connecticut. The stories Sophie told them about her parents all seemed happy, but they couldn't forget the fact that they just dumped their own daughter on the streets.

"You ready?" Liam asked peeking his head into Cecilia's room

"I think so" she sighed fixing her shirt again and running her hands down it to smooth it out.

"Come on mom's waiting" he nodded his head downstairs, and she nodded grabbing her purse and going down the steps to the down stairs.

After Liam and Sophie had Ross they decided to move into a house in suburban Manhattan. Zayn and Perrie lived in the neighborhood over, so they always come over often. Niall and Demi still live in Niall's old apartment in down town Manhattan. Harry and Louis lived right between us and down town Manhattan, so they could go both places if they wanted.

"You guys look great" Sophie smiled coming over to Liam and Cecilia and giving them a quick hug

"We better be getting on the road if we want to be there on time, bye sweetie love you" Liam said giving Sophie a quick kiss before letting Cecilia hug her then they were off. Once they got on the highway Cecilia turned to Liam and started talking to him.

"Why are Sophie's parents just now reaching out to us?"

"Well that's a good question, which you might have to ask them" he said glancing at her then back to the road

"I still find it weird that they just wanted to meet us and not her, I mean if they are making amends they should talk to her" she frowned

"You're preaching to the choir sweetie" he sighed and kept driving.

Once they got there Liam parked the car and they just kind of looked at the house for a minute.

"Darn no welcome banner" Cecilia joked making Liam chuckle and take the key out of the ignition and get out of the car. He waited for Cecilia to do the same, once they both out of the car they walked to the front door and Liam knocked on the door. They waited until an older lady with greying hair that went to her shoulders, if it weren't for the hair color Sophie and she could have been twins. They were both about the same height, the same facial structure, and the same curly hair; they did have different eye color though her moms were blue while Sophie's were a bright hazel.

"Hi you must be Liam and Cecilia" the lady held her hand out for Liam to shake

"And you must be Dawn" Liam shook her hand

"Yep, come on in" Dawn smiled opening the door more and letting the two in "Joseph they're here!" she yelled up stairs. Moment later a tall man came down the stairs, he had short all grey hair with a long face with a goatee. He came down and shook Liam's hand and gave Cecilia a small nod.

"Why don't we go talk in the living room" Joseph suggested taking his wife and walking down a picture filled hallway to the living room. Cecilia and Liam looked at all the picture seeing a ton of two boy and some other girls, most likely Sophie's brothers and their wives. There were some with the boys and some kids and there were some family photos, but none absolutely no pictures with Sophie in them. Not even the family photos had her in them. Cecilia frowned noticing those and Liam glared seeing this, like she wasn't even apart at the family. Once they got to the living room they sat on the couch opposite of the couple. Cecilia crossed her legs laying her hands in her lap, while Liam had his hands in his lap staring at the 'parents.'
