Chapter 12

Y/n is in her room thinking about what happened a few minutes ago. She ended up excusing herself and locking herself in her room.

Why did she feel sad that Levi said it was a mistake. It obviously was. Plus she can't even be looking forward to a relationship right now. But she can't help that feeling of sadness inside her...

She misses the feeling of being able to sleep with someone.

The feeling of being happy with someone.

She misses being happy all together.

But given how she's living right now, she doesn't think she deserves to be happy.

Y/n needs to get herself ready for the day anyways so she gets up from bed. Getting her towel and toothbrush. She makes her way to the bathroom next to her room.

As she starts taking her clothes off, she realizes she needs menstrual products. She needs to talk to Levi about taking her to the store to get some.

She starts and finishes her shower, brushing her teeth at the same time. Wrapping the towel around her body.

She gets herself ready. Wearing comfortable clothes.

Before leaving the room, she prepares herself to see Levi again.

Although the situation wasn't all that bad, she's still nervous. She eventually leaves her room to find Levi sitting in one of the chairs of the dining table. Making her way over to him slowly, she asks him.

"Levi?"

"Yes?" Levi says, looking up from his phone.

"Can you take me to the store. There's some things I need to get..." Y/n drops down her stare to look down at her feet.

"Yeah sure. Let me just get my stuff." Levi says as he begins getting up and heading to his room. He grabs his wallet and keys.

They both start heading out and sitting themselves in Levi's car. Since Y/n's car was destroyed, she hasn't been able to go out as much.

They get to the store and Y/n does her regular menstrual product shopping which is now kind of embarrassing since Levi is with her.

She goes to other aisles and finds herself some Tylenol. Which she also gets to help with her cramps. It might be useful for other things as well.

Levi ends up paying for Y/n's things of course.

As they begin heading out, Y/n hears meows.

She follows the noise and finds 2 baby kittens. A black one and a white one. She tries her best to keep her hands to herself and not touch them, but she feels terrible for them. They're cuddled together with their dirty fur.

"Leviii. Lookkk..." Y/n says, feeling her tears about to fall.

"Don't touch them. They might have diseases." Levi says. He doesn't hate cats but he hates germs. And those cats might have some.

"I feel so bad for them. They're probably starving..." Tears forming in her eyes. No animal should live like this. She really wants to keep them, but it isn't her place to ask.

Levi sighs. Knowing Y/n might start feeling sad and remembering Petra's request.

"Do you want to keep them?" He asks. As long as they get cleaned and checked, he has no problem keeping them.

"Wait. Are you sure? I don't want to bother you. I know you like being clean and everything." Y/n says.

"I know what I said. Would you like to keep them or not." Levi says again. Not harshly or anything. Just making sure his question is answered.
