"I'm so sorry Y/n. You didn't deserve anything of what that creep did to you. I'm sorry I wasn't there for you any earlier." Alice sobs. Her arms wrapped tightly around Y/n's stuff figure.
"It's okay." Y/n says.
Since Alice took her away from the scene, she hasn't really spoken. Keeping her words to a minimum.
She hasn't cried.
She doesn't feel the need to.
At least not right now.
She left one home to go to another one.
She doesn't want to be here either but there's no where else for her to go.
She's been avoiding Levi and only using her short words with Alice.
He's been confused as to why she hasn't been talking to him, why she does anything she can to avoid him.
Levi tries comforting her but she only listens when Alice says it.
"Are you hungry? I can make you food." Levi says, hoping that Y/n will answer him this time.
...
Silence
She doesn't though.
She sits in the living room while staring at her reflection on the Tv.
Alice taps her shoulder slightly.
"Y/n? Are you hungry?" Alice asks this time. Her voice low and soft. Her hands gentle and caring.
Yet, Y/n doesn't feel the need to have any of this right now.
"No." Is all Y/n says. She doesn't look at Alice as she says it. She continues staring at her reflection in the Tv.
Is this what Larissa is jealous about?
A girl who's had a terrible abusive relationship? Bruised skin on her legs. Damaged skin on her arms. Swollen skin on her face.
Is this what Larissa wants?
To have to deal with all of this as long as she gets a big useless diamond on her finger?
Alice turns her head towards Levi and sighs.
It doesn't matter.
It doesn't matter how they feel.
They weren't at fault for what happened.
They shouldn't have to be dealing with this.
"Y/n, do you maybe... want to talk to someone? Like, someone... professional?" Alice asks. Trying to look at Y/n in her eyes but she avoids them.
She's trying to help, but she has no idea what to do.
Maybe talking to a therapist will help?
"Alice-..." Y/n moves her head away from her.
"Listen. Just hear me out. You wont talk to us so I figure a therapist would be bet-"
"Alice. I don't need a therapist. I'm fine." Y/n stands up from the sofa. Levi walks up to her and tries getting ahold of her arm.
But he can't.
"You. Don't touch me." Y/n points at Levi.
Levi's frozen in place. His arm still extended from when he tried grabbing Y/n.
She then stomps her way to her old room.
The one she didn't share.
The one where everything was finally going good.
