Seconds...
Minutes...
Hours...
Days...
Days since Y/n has last spoken to Levi.
Not because they're mad at each other or anything, but because Levi's simply trying to make Y/n talk to him first.
Levi waits until he knows Y/n is awake to give her food. He makes sure she eats and then he's on about his life.
Y/n hears him play on his guitars and sing in his 'storage' room. She wants to congratulate him. Tell him she's proud of him.
But he doesn't speak to Y/n.
And Y/n doesn't speak to him.
She wants to but there's still that small doubt that refrains her from talking to him. That small part in her brain that keeps telling her not to believe Levi just yet.
Maybe she's overthinking, maybe she's not. But she can't believe him until she's one hundred percent sure that Levi isn't cheating on her.
It hurts her a lot to not talk to him, but if she did eventually find out he was cheating the whole time, it would hurt a lot worse.
Not to mention Y/n doesn't have anyone to talk to about this.
She obviously won't talk to Levi.
She has no communication with Alice. Even though Y/n is mad at Alice for suggesting talking to a therapist, she still loves her. That's still her family and her only true friend.
Y/n sighs as she leans her body onto the windowsill. Watching as the birds fly in the blue sky. Admiring the beautiful flowers scattered in the green grass.
Levi's going to come in any minute now. Place food in her face, watch her eat through his peripheral vision, and leave without a word.
And he'll probably not say anything, but Y/n needs something. So she'll finally muster up the words to speak to him again.
After a few minutes of Y/n contemplating, Levi finally knocks on her door.
Y/n's heart drops and her mouth suddenly goes dry.
"Good morning." Levi says first. Walking up to Y/n and placing a plate of food down.
"G- morning." She stutters. Feeling nervous about speaking to Levi again. After all this time.
Levi stands behind her with a confused expression. Her body seems stiff and uncomfortable. He wants to ask what's wrong but doesn't.
Y/n sighs and opens her mouth to say something but no words come out.
She feels like a little girl who can't talk to her crush without stuttering.
"Levi..." She whispers.
Levi's body tenses as he watches Y/n's body language. Trying to understand what's going on in her head. If she's finally going to speak with him one on one.
If they're finally going to talk things through and become one person again.
"Can you call Alice? I... I really want to speak with her." She turns her body and looks up at Levi.
Levi clenches his fists. His knuckles turning white.
He wishes she wanted to talk to him.
He wishes she felt comfortable around him.
But it's not like he can blame Alice for being there for her when she needs her.
"Sure."
